Same problem here. I've been bending over backwards for the tech support and they just keep telling me graphical fixes instead of net fixes.

See I read that and I thought to myself, oh wow I can make some missions easy. But in reality someone with no scripting knowledge can't do anything other than set waypoints and units... No documentation in the book, and yes I know there are online modding resources but why should I have to go through hours of reading just to find the right trigger script etc. This was supposed to be easy-to-use. I can't even get on in multiplayer, the main purpose of my purchase. I thought of all the intelligent people out there, there are probably infinite possibilities for fun MP scenarios. I still hold my breath until I can get this solved, as IDEA GAMES I am having correspondence with about this MP problem and all they care about is why the video I sent them was recorded @ 25 fps. They just keep asking me about FPS problems (I DONT HAVE ANY), nothing to do with network. I'm becoming further frustrated as time goes by.

I'm sorry to say this but I was laughing my head off. I've had this happen in single player quite a few times. (can't get on MP because of issues...) But I feel your pain. The more I play single player, scenarios or even make a slight attempt to use the insanely advanced editor to set up a nice mission for myself. I become less satisfied with my purchase each time I run the game.

Yeah I agree with the others here, it sounds like your card is artifacting from heat and stress.

Have you updated to the 1.3 patch? I don't believe there are any 1.0 servers around. Oh also. If you are using P2P protection software, remember the server lobby is run by gamespy/ign. So you should unblock those IPs under IGN/Gamespy in PeerGuardian 2 or other P2P programs.

The game is great... at least what I've been able to see of it. Though from my experience so far, I've paid a premium price for a game that isn't widely available in my country, yet I can only run single player and I was mostly wanting multiplayer. I am becoming annoyed quickly.

Is there any solution to this? I've reinstalled and tried the beta patches, nothing happens here. I'm constantly stuck on receiving data overlay, can see chat but remain in server lobby... My firewall is closed, windows firewall allowing connections... all recent updates. Specs Intel Core 2 Quad 9550 @ 3.6Ghz 4 gb ddr2 @ 1066 EVGA 780i FTW mobo (nvidia teaming is off, nvidia firewall is off) Auzentech X-plosion Cinema BFG 280 GTX Windows XP64 bit edition (all recent updates)

Same problem here, updated and everything. It is extremely frustrating. Tested all my ports, they're open... I can't figure this out. Tried the AA thing another suggested here and nothing happened.
