Made a folder in my OA directory called campaigns, added this, started up OA and went to play this in SP, it froze on starting the campaign. I shut the process down, went back into OA, started at shapur struggle and the same thing happened. -

My best guess is that it's saving my campaign missions in one place, and then trying to load from another, oh well, I'm nearly done with the campaign anyways. I just beat the From Hell mission, (What a damn tough mission without saving!) I left the mission with no survivors left in my squad, yet in the end, it said minimal casualties :rolleyes: . -
Hello, I just got to the 3rd mission in the campaign, I went about 3/4 way through the mission, saved, then left. Upon returning to OA, I went to my campaign missions, went to the third one, clicked continue only for it to tell me: "You cannot edit/play this mission because downloadable content (ca_missions something) has been deleted." I do not have any addons to OA yet (though plentiful in A2), and I never have deleted any of the campaign saves or anything similar. I am running 1.52, with definite up to specs computer (can run high, with no lag). List of things tried: Run as administrator.

When I changed it to missions, it didn't show any of my completed missions in their. I'll test it with a scenario mission to see if that's the problem. Note: The E I think stands for expansion, as when I start OA an expansions menu button is shown, and OA is listed under it. Edit: Testing with the scenario mission only shows that it still will not work, and that missions_e is correct (for me), because it created a new folder called missions_e. -

I'm able to play the missions just fine, it's just if I'm far in the mission and I die, or want to do something else, the save function will not work accordingly to how I explained it. Also, I start operation arrowhead from it's own exe, and not the arma2 exe, so that is not the problem. When looking around in my profile folder, I actually can't find that CA_missions anywhere, which I found quite odd, because whenever I saved on a mission, it said: "Saving" and would (like saving any other game properly) take a little bit of time for it to be done with that "Saving" state, so it must be doing something. Edit: Realized CA is the folder, and the missions are all there. The only concern I have is the missions folder is named missions_e, is that correct? Path: C:\Users\*****\Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\TimeDeatH\Saved\ca\missions_e -
Edit: lock or delete, wrong section, sorry.

No the problem isn't that the chopper is going to it's next waypoint before it drops off the units, it's that when fired upon during landing it will just hover over the invisible H and do nothing. I have had suggestions to turn off the enemy fire until the helis have left the battle, but then again that would seem kind of strange for them just to sit there while helis and planes are flying over-head, and it also would make it so the rpg soldiers have no use. -

I know this is a necropost, but is this problem EVER going to be fixed? I haven't been playing ArmA II for about 6 months now, because I wanted to wait so I can get that mission finished. It seems like it's just kind of being ignored. -
Basic Briefing howto

I have a problem with images, it can't find them, I put the images in the mission folder, but when i view the briefing it says something like 200x200 n^ (my images are set to 200x200). edit: nvm -
How would I make a trigger so that if you kill a hostage you immediately lose, with a set number of hostages. For reference the hostages names will be 1-7. Also, how do I make it so hostages are kneeled on the ground with their hands behind their heads.

Thank you, I have one last request. What would the code be to get rid of an m1911 in a loadout and replace it with an m9 (with the same amount of magazines that the m1911 had). -

I'm trying to end a mission where you have to kill 15 people (they are not grouped together) with the !(alive player) trigger, but I'm not sure how I would put it in if I had 15 people. For references they're names are a through p. I tried doing this: !(alive a); !(alive b); !(alive c); ...etc but it wouldn't work. Can someone tell me what the correct code is? -

I am wondering if anyone would like to make a briefing for the mission I have created, if interested, I will send you an email containing the mission I have created. You may add feedback and suggestions for that mission as well.

I personally don't want to see it ported to consoles, mostly because alot of the console owners think they are best right off the bat, and tell everyone else they suck when they have no idea how good the other players might be. I know it's a bad example for a game, but: When I play CoD4 on pc I feel I am playing with high quality players, and feel we're all even at skill (wanted to add: at the end of each cod4 pc match you'll see at least 5 people say GG which stands for good game). However, when going over to the ps3 version, I have people that are actually arguing over the microphone about their prestiges, ranks, and how much better they are (and also playing music, making stupid sounds, and telling off all the other players because of ethnicity and such). Within the next round I find myself on top, and the person that was talking about how good he was, is still saying how good he is compared to the people below him (I notice it all the time in console version). I think alot of this is caused, mostly because consoles have no server control whatsoever! If I were to do what I explained above on the pc version, I would be at least banned for a week or forever from that server. PC has quality and quantity control, consoles don't.

I wouldn't mind taking it as is right now, most of the major stuff is done it looks like. Unfortunately ugly is right, if you rush a release you get something along the lines of alot of terrible console games...lol. -

Oh, it seems like 1.04 was a real sound mod killer, considering they had to optimize it.
