Are you sure? I don't have the best CPU, I know, but I checked the recommended system requirements, and my CPU meets the recommended requirement. And are you sure about my GPU? It should be a tad under the GTX 260, which I know runs great on ArmA 2 from videos I've seen from Youtube. Looking at the specs of the GTS 250, it is better than a 9800 GT, and the 9800 GT also runs ArmA 2 quite well.

I think this is where I post this. -My CPU is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ -My Graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250. I do believe I can run ArmA 2, but can anybody estimate how well ArmA 2 will run on my system?

Actually, I'm using this mission in ArmA called "Benchmark." It shows a cimematic and will tell you your FPS when it's done. I run it with no other program. I'm not the best at explaining things so bare with me: Lately, whenever I play ArmA2, there has been a steady FPS drop. I usually get 23-30 FPS (depending on my enviroment). But everytime I start up ArmA2 again my average FPS drops. Example: If I got 30 FPS playing, stopped playing and went to the general store, then got home and started up ArmA2 again, my average FPS would be 25. If I was playing at 25 FPS now, shut down ArmA2 and went to bed, then the next day started up ArmA2 again, my FPS would be 23. (That isn't the exact number of FPS I've been getting, it's just an example) So basically, whenever I start-up, shut down, and play ArmA again I get a lasting FPS drop. Help? :)

Are you just saying that, or is there really something wrong with the supress command?

When playing, I will give the "supress" command to my automatic rifleman, but I don't think the command goes through. When I click "supress" the little commands box disappears, and nothing happens. My player/character doesn't say anything like "1,2, supress" and nobody else says anything. It seems like nothing happens. Yet, when I give other commands, they all work (such as move, fire, engage, disengage, hold fire, heal, the various formation commands, etc.) Is there something wrong? Or do I just not understand how the supress command works?

I know this has been said before, but if you tell them to "disengage" then "cease fire," they should stop firing.

Only 256MB. The 8600 GT is the best video card I can get for my system. It's the best one that matches my bus type. Anything else above the 8600GT (Such as 9-series Nvidia Cards) I cannot use because I cannot support them.

I noticed the "M" rating on the ArmA website said "Mild Sexual Themes." I have not seen any type of sexual behavior in the game. So why did it get labeled for sexual themes?

You have to do the rocket training as well. If you complete MOUT and not the rocket training you cannot complete boot camp. Keep looking for SABRE team members. Kill them.

Hello! I'm new to the forums. I think this is the appropriate forums to post in, if not, I am sorry. Anyways, I just recently downloaded the demo of ArmA 2 and while messing around with it I found out that ArmA 2 doesn't work with Skype running. What would happen is I would click on the desktop icon for the ArmA 2 demo, it would start up, then quickly minimize and would stay minimized. I couldn't unminimize it. But then I disabled Skype and clicked on the minimized window, and it ran fine. Would anybody happen to know why this is? Has anybody had this issue before? Is there a fix?

Hello! I'm new to the forums. I recently downloaded the ArmA 2 demo, and I love the game! I play the game in all low setting though. I can just barely run the game. Should I buy the game even though I can only run it in low settings?
