My Arma III has developed a strange habit of dumping all of my joystick binding.It will sometimes kill my TrackerIR as well.What file (and where is it located) can I keep a copy of after I reprogram everything so that I can drop it in and get my presets back?

Thanks for the quick reply. It just seemed to me that as the SDB's were developed so aircraft could carry more ordnance the the inboards and maybe even centerline stations would be available. I'll keep my eyes open for configuration photos

Good Morning(or evening as the case may be) Just a question of curiosity. On the F-16C,Why can't you load GBU-39 SDB or GBU-53 SDB on the inboard stations? I was a Aviation Ordnanceman on the A-6 intruder back in the '80 and usually Station loading restrictions were because of size. I would not think this is the case with an SDB. Just wondering.

Well,I just down loaded an installed FIR-AWS-US-AirWeaponSystem-US-NATO-version-1.0 and I keep running into this. I am have used both the module and the open dialog screen with the same result. I have all Station settings set to ether EMPTY or Clean Any Ideas?

Hiya Firewill, I have been going crazy(a short trip down a familiar path) trying to find a list that tells me what each weapon in your FIR AWS US - AirWeaponSystem US/NATO Is and how it is targeted. For instance,GBU-3 - JADM - GPS or something similar. I was hoping you (or anyone else) could point me in the right direction. ~Lobo~

I ordered one that is supposed to get here tomorrow.I downloaded the manual and looked it over.It said "step one,go to saitek download page,download drivers and software". Well,I can't.I keep getting this. "Invalid request. Privoxy doesn't support FTP." Anyone know of somewhere else I can get them from? :(

Yes,with no luck.However,I was able to call them and they set up a download for me :)

I have always used TIR when playing,but now it has decided not to work.I have unloaded all my mods,checked everything under control setting ,restarted multiple time,even changed USB ports. No Luck. I have the latest TIR software,5.4,it is operating fine in the head tracking window,even after I start the game(and get the blue light). Yet it is not working in game!!! HELP!

Thanks for all the reply's.I don't know what I did to kill it or what has brought it back to life(I tried so many different things),But it is working fine now. It was strange.I had been using it in A3 earlier in the day with no problems.Then for no reason it just quit.I run two monitors,so when I was trouble shooting I had the TIR software running on my upper monitor,all was fine.When I would launch the game,I would get the blue light on the Tracker and I could see it working on the other monitor,but nothing was happening in game. I've had the TIR sine the old days before any game supported it and all you had was mouse emulation.I've never run into this before and hopefully....never again! :)

It looks like I may have found an answer,Digging around in an old "ArmA" thread.It seams that they are stored in C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\xxxx. I made a copy of this folder and saved it to desktop.Then I went in game and change several control settings.I started and exited the game several times and my changes remained.So I then pasted a copy of my Other Profiles\xxxx folder back in Documents\Arma 3 folder. WALAA! My control setting have returned to my Presets! Hopefully someone else can use this as well :)

..Need some help finding a tutorial.I'm having no luck so far. I wish to simply re-skin a base UH-60 to a Camo pattern.I don't even know where to start...well,I did DL the "ARMA_SampleVehiclesWeapons"Pack,but after that I'm lost. Any help appreciated Perhaps I should add, I DLed BI tools. I started skinning using PSP 6 in EAWand then for IL-2 and strikefighters What I need is help unpacking the raw material and finding the skin templates. Thanks

As usual what started out as what I though was going to be a simple project has grown.My Idea was to make a Scope addon that let me use the reticles that are used in the Shepheard Rifle scopes. I saw one in use in Iraq,I've seen referances of them being used by others and I just recently traded for one. :) I'm doing a couple of small personal addons(targets,My own Soilder,etc...as both practice and a learning experiance.Bookmarking and/or downloading tutorials and referance material. I'm using NWD's Scopefix v2.2 as a baseline as it seems he has done a very thurow job of reworking the scopes in vanila ArmA and it is also used by ACE and other addon makers. I have tried to "boil Down" his opticsZoomMin/opticsZoomMax numbers to get a working referance chart with no luck.(Not surpizing as I am not very good at math) I'm wearing out my search button and the only referances I keep coming across were posted by a Gent named 'SelectThis'.They don't match up anywhere close to NWD's numbers as far as I can tell. The scope I wish to replicate is the Shepherd Model 310-P2,3x-10x with 18" circles and posably later the M556,6x-18x with 9" circles and .MOA windage and elevation grids. Does anyone know where I can find a current referance for the Zoom values used in game?

Greetings All! New to ArmA and need some help.I need (want :) ) A comleat default contol key list for 1.14. I'm setting up a joystick profile for use with aircraft and armor (Joystick for Gunner/commander is just like using my old commanders over ride in a Brad :) ) and want to start with all default keys. Tried the search function with no luck. Keys seem to be stored in a .bikey file and I have no way to open it. Any help appresiated

Hello, I'm a total noob to ArmA.It looks to me like keystrokes are stored in the keys folder in the file bi.bikey. What tool would I need to open it? I want to generate a hard copy of all the keystrokes used in the game. Thanks for any help
