  1. Hanzu, if i remember it correctly. If you play as CDF the Napa agent will be outside a house on the route to the priest. I think somewhere along the road between Stary Sobor and Vyshnoye

    you (or the ai commander) needs to build an airfactory/helipad first before you can buy Helos. And you are now allowed to build them until further into D.O.W mission. When you have an airfactory/helipad you buy the helos in the same buy units menu as you buy your tanks and soldiers.

  6. regarding send money, if you send money to any of the officers he will get half of your funds. If you don't send any neither yours or his funds will change.

    i usually try to take them out and i have never had any problems with the rest of the campaign or the Badland mission that can be related to taking on the Russians in Badlands. But i have only played on the easier difficulties so far.
  8. i cant help your there i've only played SP so far.
  9. yeah game mode would work. and there are only two maps in the game the island of Utes and mainland Chernarus. All missions are played on those. The majority of the missions is on the Chernarus map.

    i dont know if there's a standalone sheet but you have the keyboard layout in the manual. In the manual after the game credits there is a quick start guide in your local language which have a the KB layout called "the most important infantry controls".

    regarding the real location of CHR. on Wikipedia it says that it is the region of České Středohoří which is in north western Czech Rep. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernarus#Setting

    if you look under "my documents" you should have a folder called Arma 2, take a backup of it and you should be alright. It contains all your saves as well as you editor created missions.
  16. 1. scroll the mousewheel and select "switch to gunner" or something like that. 2. simply add "opfor" units / groups, Click the units or group button on the right hand side of the editor and double click on the map where you want the units.

    its not a bug, its a trigger that activates when you get close to EVZK. you are not supposed to reach Elektrovazodsk.

    Editor Layer

    i like your idea with layers takko. :) it would be very useful if you could choose what to display and what to hide as it would make things easier when having lots of units, waypoints... I also would like some kind of pre-defined "view filters" which you could select or deselect. Like you perhaps only want to the air units displayed/hidden then you would just check/uncheck the "air units box" or the "infantry box" to display/hide infantry and so on...
  21. when you capture the first town you will get a radio message saying that says that the HQ APC is on its way (CDF= BMP 2 HQ, NAPA = BRDM2 HQ) and that you should rendez-vouz with it at point orange. When you get the APC drive it to where you want your base, make everyone disembark, scroll the mouse wheel until "Construction" is highlighted. then left click and select "Base", then select "Deploy HQ". You will get a message when the HQ has been constructed and then you can repeat the procedure to build a Barrack and a light factory. When both have been built you can scroll your mousewheel and select "Buy units" then buy the units you desire to have.
  22. you should have an HQ APC at your disposal. move it to where you want your base and scroll your mouse wheel until the option "deploy HQ" (or something like that dont remember the exact frase) is highlighted then left click to select that option and deploy the HQ where you want it in the circle and left click again. Then when hQ is deployed you can build Barracks and Light Factories by scrolling with the mousewheel and select/click "construction". Select either base (Barrack/Light factory) or defences (MH nests, static MGs/Gls and etc). select what you want to build and deploy/click just like with the HQ. When construction is complete scroll with mouse wheel and select/click "buy units".

    actually that is not necessary. just change the unit/player status from "playable" to "non playable" and the "Empty" will appear in the list of factions.

    actually there is two of them Zelenogorsk ;) a town in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (this is the closed town you mentioned in your post). a municipal town in Russia under jurisdiction of Saint Petersburg.

    How do saves work?

    you have a certain amounts (5 or 6 i think) of "save slots" in the easier difficulties and which means that eventually you will have to overwrite any of the older saves with the new save. You can always choose which save to overwrite though. In addition to those save slots. There is one autosave slot as well as another savefile named "Continue" to which the game saves your mission progress when you quit/suspend an ongoing mission.
