    huge graphics problems

nuggetz, Thank you for the instructions. I did it and it resolved this graphics problem. 1. Go to your desktop Arma II shortcut, right click on it and select 'Properties' 2. Under the 'Shortcut' tab, go to the 'Target' slot and at the end of it type -winxp after the quotation marks. It should look something like this: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -winxp 3. Click 'Apply', then 'Ok' Hope this helps for all.

    huge graphics problems

I am having the same video graphics problems. I also do have 8GB RAM on my Windows Vista 64 computer. The Arma II Demo and Arma II were working fine until I updated (clean install) my NVIDIA videocard drivers from the 186.18 to the newest 190.38. I have been able to play the game by reinstalling the older 186.18 NVIDIA videocard drivers. I am not very computer savvy so I could use some guidance on how to do the commandline -winxp to see if that solves the graphics problem. I have the non-Steam, retail DVD copy, of Arma II. I had the same problems with both the 1.02 Arma II patch or the 1.03 patch, so the version of Arma II is not an issue. I have also installed the EVGA SLI Enhancement recommended in this http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=76908 as well as the other recommendations on that post. My PC specs: Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit 8GB DDR3 RAM 2 x BFG NVIDIA Geforce 280 GTX in SLI Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 @ stock 3.20 GHz EVGA nForce 790i SLI motherboard Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
