Short description:TACO is the official NSS-Gamers COOP Clan for ArmA 2/ ArmA 3.

Are you OFP/ArmA/ArmA2 veteran who doesn't have a group to play with? Maybe you recently discovered ArmA3 and wish to see what it can offer to you. Tired of all the DayZ and want to try proper military operations?

We don't want to deal out virtual ranks or force people to play in certain role every time. It is just a game (or maybe more a combat simulator) after all. That's essentially what Not So Serious Gamers are all about as well - we want to play together smartly, but not too seriously.

  2. I roughly did 15 Bans today on our Server.

Yet the Game has just been released and many Alpha buyers seem to come from a wrong Generation of CoD/DayZ. Just spraying your Teammates in the mainbase, or doing Teamkills followed by the words "F*ck youuu" ( helium pitched Voice ) and then Rage quitting were the main Reasons , sad but true!

As for freshly released Games, Admins have to fight against the first BIG Waves of Zombies Idiots. What we have then after Some Months/Years are either empty Serverlists or Server´s with mature players and Admin Support.

We are pleased to announce that TACO is now recruiting for ARMA 3!

We will be hosting operations on our server these coming months aswell as having public missions throughout the week. With this announcement is that of a new logo and image that has been designed for the Arma 3 period of taco which is seen above.

TACO staff are keen and very excited to get going and allowing new people into what previously was a very exclusive tightly knit group. Opening our ranks to new players will allow people to enjoy TACO just as I and the team has over the past years. We will strive to recruit the very best players that will ensure gameplay and operations as of a high standard as they have always been.

'So what is this TACO all about?'

Well, we are a cooperative military group that has routes all the way back to the orginal ArmA when we were first formed. We aim to play to a realistic stadard while keeping it fun. This includes operations that you would see from standard infantry units right through to special forces. We have a dedicated command team that will create these operations giving everyone an enjoyable yet challenging experience. There is opportunity to play in the role that you would like to play as once you are a member, this may be a standard rifleman, a sniper, a pilot, boat troop or special forces. If you want to play it, then we will do our best to accomodate it.

    'Where do I sign?'

Check out our recruitment page in the forums and fill out an application.

'Can I see how you guys play before joining?'

Yes, we have videos and pictures of some of our coop games throughout the year. [These will be placed here and updated as operations are recorded.]

  4. Ahh gotcha. Yea I don't really know why mine fixed itself... I've got no clue as to why it wont run on a dedicated server though. Idk if this will help at all http://www.404games.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/1670-how-to-run-an-arma3-alpha-dedicated-server/ Only thing I changed was running the default profile with out changing anything, and setting my graphics card to control some stuff instead of application controlled. So I assumed mine was client side.

Sorry Chasoff. I still haven't had any issues on my end since I did all of that. Have u tried a fresh install without modifying anything? The only other thing I did (but this didn't seem related to the crashing) was to change some settings on my graphics card so they were no longer application controlled. There are also some readme's in the Arma 3 Alpha folder under SteamApps that may help. They go into a little about FXAA and SMAA and how to properly turn them on in the Arma3Alpha.cfg file. But again this may be total useless info. These are just the things I have done / tried and haven't had any crashing since.

Somehow I may have fixed the crashing aswell. But not sure though. I did not let my antivirus program check the Process anymore which could have helped atleast 1 of the Error Messages. I also did set the -winxp parameter and run everything as Admin.
