  1. Also, one thing I failed to mention is that I purchased the game through Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/) and I am not sure where it put the ARMA2.CFG file. ---------- Post added at 03:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:06 AM ---------- Your command line suggestion (lauching ARMA2 with command line switch in my shortcut) did create an ARMA2.CFG on my C:\ drive, however, ARMA2 still does not load my preferred settings. It still loads the video defaults even after I change them and click OK and exit the game.
  2. No it is not. However, my My Documents\ARMA 2 is actually on my network drive. I am a software developer / gamer and I have Windows 2008 Server Running as a domain controller and all of my documents are saved with my roaming profile (on the server) and I wonder if it is a security related issue. I have had issues with other games/programs in the past and there is no easy way for me to revert back to the old My Documents on my local drive. Is there a way I can tell ARMA 2 to point to an ARMA2.cfg on my local drive?
  3. I made changes to video settings and clicked the OK button and the settings are not saved after I exit and re-run the game.

    No Sound / Audio

Thanks for advice, however, no go. I did exactly as you said and there is still no sound. I am running Windows Vista 64 Ulitmate if that makes any difference.
  5. I just installed game from Steam and the game runs fine (after I rebooted) and I get no audio for both my USB headset (Pantronics) and Sondblaster SB X-Fi with speakers. I have rebooted several times and then tested both USB and Soundblaster with other applications and it works fine. However, does not work with ARMA 2. Any suggestions?
