Hello, I am new to Arma 2 and...
IceDread replied to MossyOakHunter18's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
You need to grab the manual and check all the keys and learn them and keep the manual beside you, after that you need to learn how the crafts responds and moves.. I too find it tricky but have not had a lot of time over to practice. -
So I bought the Tritton ax pro headset and it works, the positioning is not as exact in this game as in some others I tried thou but it's decent. Like some people mentioned, the sound is not exact and I can confirm that, it's a bit off but at least it's not totally bad since it seams to at least be consistently wrong in the same way all the time.

I too have problems controlling the team mates. One especially annoying bug is when an enemy is bugged out and just stands there and can't die or is already dead, the AI wasted all my ammo shooting at it with my apc while I was trying to get him to hold fire :(

I have Auzentech x-fi prelude 7.1 and since it's not popular to play too high volume at night time I'm thinking about purchasing Tritton AX Pro http://www.trittontechnologies.com/products/TRIGA611.htm Which to me looks like the best there is on the market for true surround sound in a headset, the Tritton I've in mind is 5.1 and the best headset Tritton has to offer it looks like. But if there are so much problems with 5.1 as there seams to be in this thread then maybe it's a bad idea except thou that it would be handy in other games as well. What is the standing with all the issues and does anyone know how far the devs has come in solving it, if they are working on it at all? Thanks

CTF maps, I tried some but found some to be quite sterile and limited, thou only tried a few. Berzerk was fun. Tried some big customised map and well there should be a lot more small scaled maps, when you have to drive bike 5km to the next town again and again it aint that fun, well it was a fun experience to try one time but not something I will do again. So yeah definitely hoping for a lot of small scaled maps but not as small as some ctf maps.

Seriously where is it? Here you can see in action Then I want the German armour equipped in the Swedish fashion, that is, all tanks see each others on screens in the tank with a gps system and has a easy time talking and manoeuvring together. Before this system, a lot of radio traffic was about where everyone was, now nearly all is about the enemy. Some games/maps seams to feature good mini maps but many does not. I would also love some Swedish mobile artillery http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CA1j7mJbgDU

Hi there, I bought the game yesterday and it is quite impressive. However, I'm a battlefield 1942/2142 gamer and I dont really enjoy sightseeing the country for minutes walking/ driving now and then to get where I want to get to fight. I like battles not driving around, all thou I do like the possibility to do flanking manoeuvres so it's good that it's a choise. However, are there any maps or missions or something in particular to look for that somewhat resembles battlefields intensity of always being in a fight or within a minute being in a battle if I want to go there directly? Thanks
