How do i do that? mine are not steam downloaded, but gamers gate, so i don't see the option. i'm re-downL 159 update, i'll re run it to see if something change. Re updated everything but didn't change a thing, still getting kicked, so i guess i'll have to manually drag off the folders of the 2 add ons every time i want to play in that server.

Thank you all for your replay, renaming the shortcut is what i tried already in my original post but OA keeps loading them. I found a temporary (i hope for a patch) solution. Simply drag and drop the 2 baf and pmc folders on to the desktop for when i want to play in that server and once i'm done re drag them to the original position C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 folder. I get into this server that keeps on kicking me because of signature check "18:17:02 Player Fabrix: Wrong signature for file PMC\addons\dubbingradio_pmc.pbo" It's the only server i'm getting kicked from and they say it's because baf and pmc add ons that i got through gamers gate. arma 2 and OA are hard copies. This is what they say, quote: "This seems to happen quite a bit with the Steam version of those add-ons. It appears to be bugged with the newer signature checks. I don't think most servers are using those new signature checks, which would explain why you can play in other servers." Now, they asked me to uninstall baf and pmc, but i don't want to because i play in other servers that require them, and because there must be another way around. I tried modifying the target line in the OA short cut but keeps loading up with the mods. I tried to disable them through the expansion tab when you start up the game but of course they are greyed out. How do i do it without uninstalling them? Please help me. thanks

oh, 1 last thing! NO MORE 2d vegetation please! I'm not pretending something like cryengine 2 (crysis) but something like the DUNIA(farcry2) yes! And fix the ka-50 killing everything from 5k up without been spotted by anything when in reality a tunguska would see it from 10k.

Completely re write the engine. This one is old, and line after line to make it better became ELEPHANTINE, it is just to heavy now. Re write it in dx11 like DICE is doing for bf3 and move some of the physics on the gpu NOT using a proprietary system like Nvidia phisix but a open one . I upgraded from a 4870 to 6950 and other then a shorter time loading the textures (4870 512mb to 6950 2gb) i don't have much of an improvement. Write it to take full advantage of multicore cpus cause at now Arma2 it is not multi-core optimized. For the rest i don't care too much if an animation is a little off like climbing a ladder, who cares about that c'mon!!! There are tonnes of more important things to change first! Wake up.

I've just installed the six updater to use the acemod. This is the only change i made. Since then even when i'm starting a normal game(NOT ace) as soon as i enter a multiplayer game i get a crash with this out of memory (requested -2075270 KB) footprint 251265024 KB pages 16348. Never had this prob b4. What is this? Well i solved the problem dis installing all ace related stuff and folders, but that's hardly a solution, cause i want to play ace mod. Any ideas?
