  1. Ohhh! shiny! Thanks, didn't know you could do that :D I just noticed the other section. I saw "scripting" and assumed it was the right forum.
  2. Yes I am :D, thanks. Just wish it mentioned this sleep thing in all the guides I read. :P
  3. so what's the correct way to use sleep, do i just add the line sleep 5; to the bottom?
  4. So on this mission me and my friends like I added a M113 with this in the initialization: this addMagazinecargo [""ACE_Sandbag_Magazine"", 30]; this addMagazinecargo [""Pipebomb"", 4]; nul = [] execVM ""locator.sqf""; locator.sqf is: _forever = true; while {(_forever)} do {"respawn_west" setMarkerPos getpos hq}; Where hq is the M113 before I added that, everybody could play the mission fine, but after, some people get insane de-sync and can't even play, while it works fine for others. If I switch to another map nobody has any connection issues.
  5. Thanks for that awesome post, I've been wracking my brain over this for a few days now plowing through documentation trying to get it figured out how to launch scripts so I gave up and googled "start a sqf script when the mission starts" and got this.
  6. my rig: Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 4096MB DDR2 800 RAM 2x GeForce GTX 260, SLI Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) EVGA 780i SLI So I recently bought a second GTX 260 only to discover that you can't use dualscreens with SLI on Windows XP, so I upgraded to Windows 7. Arma 2 ran great on XP with SLI, however, on 7 when it gets to the main menu it crashes. I have tried the newest drivers and older drivers too and profiles and stuff, but nothing seems to work. All my other games that use DX9 and DX10 run fine with SLI on windows 7. I checked the crash log and got this: ===================================================================== == h:\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\arma2.exe == "h:\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2\arma2.exe" ===================================================================== Exe timestamp: 2009/07/06 01:43:24 Current time: 2009/07/26 16:37:05 Cannot register unknown string STR_FILLRATE_FORMAT Exe version: 1.02.58136
