I was sitting in work the other day when I heard a manager and the IT guy discuss their plans to just dump some of the remaining Dell servers as we've moved to a cloud based system. Seizing the opportunity I managed to snatch the last one without really thinking it through (free stuff eh). http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/pedge/en/1850_specs.pdf Its an old Dell Poweredge 1850, bought approximately 7-8 years ago. Now I've to supply a new IDE hard drive, which I have a few spare, but now that I've got it I'm wondering will it run Arma 3? I'm looking at a single instance of maybe 20-30 players, a few mods and Patrol ops, possibly the headless client. Then a small team speak server for the players. Will it work? If so what needs done to it? Or is it just a pipe dream? Heck could it run Arma 2 or even DayZ (when the server files are released)? Your help and advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I will do and I always enjoy the mods that people put out, I was just hoping to finish this level tonight.

I've been playing BIS games since OFP was first released and this game is annoying the heck out of me. I just want to get past the manhattan mission without having to constantly restart due to either helo crashing/shaftoe dieing (how can that happen if hes in a base surrounded by marines)/or the LAV either never arriving or I couldnt call it through the command menu. If this could be fixed alongside the super marksmen ai then the game would be enjoyable.

Actually really frustrated at this game. After playing through Manhattan for ages I got to take the woman prisoner and she just stood there, wouldnt follow me or anything. So I moved onto the main base and the support unit either didnt arrive or I couldnt call it on the command. Add that to the fact the helo kept crashing at my main base or it just got stuck. So I restarted the mission and now despite restarting the mission for the last hour Captain Shaftoe is dead when I arrive at FOB Manhattan. What the fudge is going on? I know its minor but I spent a lot of time completing FOB Manhattan missions the first time round and now can't complete even the most basic task due to a glitch/bug in the system. I don't want to use any cheats to get by this mission but is there a fix for it (I have updated to the latest version already).
