Is arma 2 the lastest game released ? I am looking for a newer FPS.

I am new to ARMA2. I think i played the demo years ago and wanted to give it another try. I went to the main page and saw all these expansions. I am guessing i need to buy ARMA2 then purchase each additional expansion ? Thanks for info.

I went from original version running like crap to new 1.3 not running at all. Can you see where the frustration comes from ?

I stopped playing the game it was so buggy. So people told me just wait for the patch so i did. I upgraded loaded the game and this is what i got when starting a game Just wanted to thank BIS for all the enjoyment i been getting out of this.

Sorry but i don't think this game is for me. I thank everyone for their help here but i am done with this bug fest. Anyone want a used copy for 30 bucks ? PM me

I think the future of gaming lays in the gaming companys hands. I think a lot could be learned if they took a few pointers from Blizzard. Funny because i don't even like WOW but they way they run their setup is almost flawless. I paid 50 bucks for this game and ill tell you what from day 1 with all the programming issues i am disappointed. When BIS releases its next game do you really think that i am going to run out to the store to give them even more money ? Hell no. I believe that this is where pirate's start coming in. To me: I don't expect a game to be 100% but i also dont expect to , like someone else said "pay to play a beta." If i know the company is a stand up company then i have no problem giving them my money. As far as BIS goes so far ill save my money or something else.

my GTX8800 runs the game as good as its gonna be until they patch. Blue effect is post processing, disable it. also turn video memory to very high.

8800GTX gets hot to (80-85) but i read the cards are good for up to about 103 !

so when i join some games and get that download window thats downloading addons ?

Well i managed so far to get TK'ed 50 times in my base but i was able to request a motorcycle and just drive around. i tried to run over what i think was a enemy but it didnt end well for me.

I mean i just spent and hr running around not having a clue what was going on. I try to chat with people but no one is responding. Im just trying to get a hang of it.
