I spent many hours trying to get it to work and all I ended up with was a crashfest where the scale was way off (too big) and no positional tracking. Vorpx/Arma is bad VR.I want Arma VR to be good not piss poor and reliant on Vorpx like it is now.

It works badly with vorpex. Play any game with native VR support and you'll understand just how poor Arma is in VR.

That comment is just laughable. Alright then, let's see how it works the other way: Arma is hopeless in 2d on monitors, the immersion is nonexistent and I would not recommend it.

Hi all. Me and my mate tried for the whole of yesterday to get this working on our CV1's and the result was just a crashfest even with battleye turned off. Truly the most frustrating gaming experience in recent times for me as we seemed so close to getting it stable. FPS were generally under 90 but there was no judder thanks to time warp. It's a bit sad that the developers haven't embraced VR for Arma3. I'm thinking of getting a refund through steam, getting a Vive and a copy of Onward. In Onward you can throw a clip to your buddy but in Arma3 I couldn't even take my mate's medikit out of his pack and treat him. Arma3 is just a mouse clicky, keyboard bashy user interface mess without native support for VR and touch devices and will be rejected by the hardcore simmers over the coming years unless this gets addressed. Just my opinion.

I think VBS2 has a real time mission editor. I doubt we'll see it in the retail version, though.

It probably takes up more resources to be connected to an MP game. I remember games in the past stating that the multiplayer experience wouldn't be as good as in SP. -
There are no racist names for the adversaries depicted in the game. If there were I would be in favour of using them. But we definitely need some blasphemy to be included.

Yes, in the States nudity is frowned upon. Remember the fuss when some singer flashed a nipple on TV? Due to the obsession with the idea of a god, if Arma2 had dialogue like 'Jesus fucking Christ' it would be banned. Violence is fine though, due to the ingrained, gun obsessed culture.

I'd also like to hear 'Jesus Christ' used. When emotions run high, such as in battle, the air will turn blue. I still think it's silly to buy an 18+ sim and then whine about the swearing. If you want it removed, fine, but it shouldn't be a high priority. I'd rather no time was wasted on this issue.

I would want this aspect of ARMA2 addressed last, after all other issues have been dealt with.

Don't be stupid. I know plenty of highly educated people who swear like, well, troopers. I'm amazed that the kinds of people interested in this sort of simulation can also be so sensitive about a little swearing. It's pathetic.

There's no way. Arma2 isn't for kids, either. When I was in the army we swore all the time. So this is at least realistic.

You'll know that your body is lined up because of the closure with the area or object you are looking at. The moment you stop having to track with your head will be the moment your body if aligned to your head. What you need to do is learn 'mouse follow head' until it becomes muscle memory. That way you will do it without thinking about it, unless you want to override the action. Any kind of automatic method will feel false.
