IRL when I'm crouching of course I know it but in the game it's not always clear. We should have an icon of our character that shows the stance we are in. Of course we could turn this on/off in the options.

Hello, I bought this game at release but I only played for a couple of hours before uninstalling it, mainly because of the cheating AI. Now it's been a long time since then and I was looking at my Steam games and I was wondering if there was any improvement made? - Can the AI suddenly see a player moving proned in grass? - If I'm lying in the grass, not moving, and shooting at an AI, will he instantly know exactly where I am ? - If that was not improved, is it any different in the expansion? Thanks!

Hello, I played Arma II at the release and I though it was great except for a couple of things: - Cheating AI that can see through grass - Poor multiplayer choices - Poor multiplayer browser - Gamebreaking bugs So, is the AI still cheating? Is it now possible to join "BF2-like" games with 2 teams shooting each other or are we still stuck with that mode (conquest I think?) with every human being in the same team and fighting AI? Did they fix the browser so it's fast, readable and accurate? Thanks!

I don't see a point in reinstalling if all I can do is join a coop server, take helo to town, snipe every cheating AI while being shot through grass, mountains and buildings and start over in a new town.

Commands are currently bugged and AI don't follow orders. Play another game and wait for a patch like the others.

So when I order them all that and I don't move and after a couple of seconds they go all over the place and kill people at hundreds of meters and get killed it's my fault? You must be joking or trolling.

Most games are like that and the patching still works fine in Steam.

That's why I can't do the last US infantry single player scenario. I'm the leader and I tell them to stay down, to stay in formation and to be in safe mode but they wander everywhere and start shooting everyone and they get killed. I can't finish the solo because of the AI.

They did screw up. It's the only game I have with this problem. Other games can get incremental patches in Steam. Just send your overdownload bill to BIS.

I'm doing the campaing with a friend. Today we were doing the mission where we have to find 2 dudes, Bolsak and Loptev or something like that. After restarting like 15 times (no exaggeration) because of the stupid bots getting killed by our chopper or because of the retarded pilot that crashes his heli while landing in a large flat zone or because of the dozens of bugs and CTD we were very annoyed that we had to restart from the beginning every time, go talk to the guy that marks the zone on the map, go talk to the other guy 3 miles away, etc. so we decided to cheat "endmission" because, seriously, it sucked going around doing nothing and restarting all the time. We did the next mission with the bikes and it took 5min (what's the point of that mission?). We are now on the Manhattan mission where we can do several objectives. The problem is that when it says "saving game" it doesn't actually works all the time and we now have to restart the mission from the beginning, losing a lot of time and giving us rage and murder intent. The last time we tried, we found the redhead girl (Antonia?) and while trying to board the chopper for evac she killed herself by hitting her head on the landing gears... WTF!? So HOW the HELL do we SAVE the game so we don't have to restart each time and watch 5 min of talking/transport video before starting to play the mission?!?! Why is the "save" button not there in coop campaign??? Why the saves don't work??? Anyone tested and approved this game before selling it??? Was that guy fired???

Is it now possible to save anywhere in coop campaign like we do in solo campaign (Esc > Save) ?

Because it's not available in any store where we live!

Hello, is it normal that I was never able to issue specific orders to my squad? In the coop campaign (Manhattan so far) and in the single player scenarios I can't give orders that are in the menu 1, menu 3 (open fire, engage) and menu 7 (stealth, danger, go prone, etc), I am only able to use some of the command menu (move there, regroup, etc) and the formations menu. The other orders are grayed out. Is it normal?

I agree. Actually it's impossible to feel immersed because of that awful voice acting.

- Play games where you murder hundreds of people in the battles - Play games where you drive like criminals and crush people in the streets - Play games where you can cut limbs and mutilate people BUT don't you dare swear in these games and don't forget to beep the cussing in the late shows on TV...

Place yourself in a BI dev shoes. You are making a game, then come the big bosses, they want money and they want it now. You release an unfinished product full of bugs and missing features, everybody panic and make bad critics. Now your job is to finish the game by making patches. You'd want to come here and face the angry customers to post your work's news? I wouldn't.

You are not bad, the game is currently bugged and the AI can spot you instantly and kill you in 1 shot while you can't see them. If by luck you see them before they see you, it takes 5-6 or more shots to kill them.
