I play on a stock clocked C2D E6400, 4GB ram, 9600GT and Vista. I run at 1680x1050 with most settings to high or normal. I get playable frames. /no pity

Fact of the matter is a volley from the GAU 8 will destroy or cripple most anything. Its an old, but still very effective weapon. With laser guided alien blasters and all kinds of fancy crap, its nice to have good old massive firepower. A A10 fan is the same guy who, in the future, would choose a sawed off shotgun and a cigar over a lazer gun.
