I already have tested the demo, but I hate that theres only deathmatch. yes my computer isn't decent but it runs the game in normal and few things were on high and FPS was awerage 20. Resolution was very big. But I tested it with demo... I don't know if it's same is it whole game or demo, I mean do you get better fps on demo than whole game? How does the squad thing work? I mean is it like in PR ( Project Reality )? Just join to the squad and Squadleader tells what to do? How does the communication work? I mean I really dont want to type everything to chat while the game is on :). If you know what Im talkin about.

OK so I did this thread, because I dont want to spend 50€ to game if it have only deathmatch gamemode. The graphics are amazing and realistic, really! Like marines are really marines. Like I mean, they have right helmet, glasses, camouflage (marpat), vests and even boots. BUT I want to know am I able to speak with my teammates on online? Is there better gamemodes and stuff? Overall is the game worth buying to a guy, who wants realistic game with no freaking deathmatch gamemodes. It's OK if there's that gamemode, but I hope that players would play more the "other" gamemodes.

Thanks to all helpers!!!! Game is working. My mistake always was that when I hadran the mar_redist2009 thing, and to ARMA 2 folder began a lots of unextracted files, I deleted them and then ran DXSETUP. But then I tried to not delete those files and run DXSETUP and it works!! THX. EDIT: BTW my computer could easily run the whole game in Normal/High, Im talking of demo. Can my computer still run the whole game or does it even effect is it demo or whole game?

I cant download that setup to DXSETUP folder ( exactly it isn't folder ). If I run it to ARMA 2 DEMO folder, there appears bout 40 unextracted files.

Can I get a link to download directx 9 redlist?

Cant run it. Same error message. I think I should use somehow directx_mar2009_redist, but i dont know how.

I'm not a good with computers so let's do this simple... I reinstalled it again this time to Steam/Steamapps/(my account name)/And here comes the ARMA 2 DEMO. So is now in right folder? Then when I look to ARMA 2 DEMO folder, I see that I dont have a DirectX folder. Should I install it too? Where can i get it? And what do I exactly do with a directx_mar2009_redist ? I saw a DXSETUP on ARMA 2 DEMO folder and I ran it and it installed something, but there arma 2 folder hadn't any new folders. AND REALLY Im not good with computers so simple steps! Thanks.

So yeah, I downloaded Arma Demo and I extracted with WinRaR. I installe it to Program Files Folder, and when to installition was finished and I tried to run to game, there came this error message: This application has failed to start because X3DAudio1_6.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. So I reinstalled the game, I wasn't though sure did the error message mean X3DAudio1_6.dll application or the Arma Demo. I re-installed to Progran Files (x86) folder, because my every is there. And when I finished the installiton and restarted the computer. Then i tried to run the game again, but that same error message appeared. Which was: This application has failed to start because X3DAudio1_6.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. I didn't have any problems during the installition except, that when it installed Unistall settings, the installition freezed for about 1 minute, and was not responding. But I didn't have to cancel the installition and it finishen it. I extracted it with old WinRaR, so the WinRaR said I should buy WinRaR, but I just canceled it and extracted the game though. So what could be the problem? Should I reinstall WinRaR and then extract it again? Or should I reinstall X3DAudio1_6.dll application? How do I reinstall it? So yeah, help is needed! I need to test demo first, because I want to see, how it works on my PC!
