I just use different shortcuts on my desktop. One for vanilla Arma 2 One for VopSound mod only One with everything, etc. Silly me. I did not read you thing properly where you said that without the @Panthera you still have the issue. If you remove the mod you can connect ? That would be weird because it shouldnt be loaded. Unless you have put panthera pbos inside a folder that contain all the other mods you are using.

You still cant compare COD5 with Arma by doing that... Even if view-distance is set to 500m, the world still goes on 150 km around you.

The script never put the ammo to backback. It would need to be modified to do that. I'm leaving on vacation and can't really take a look at it right now but it should be easy to do. Look into the backpack code and repeat the procedure done for the gun.

My main problem with Teamspeak or ventrillo is not the fact that people dont take turn. If you have 15 guys, 3 of which are in the air, and the rest separated on the ground in different squads, soon, everyone needs to talk, even if they take turns. Then you switch channels and you are screwed because you need to switch between 3 or 4 channels to talk to everyone. I haven't experienced server crashes due to the in game voice and it works flawlessly on my 2 man server :rolleyes: . I guess some issues appear when more people try to use it ?

I never experienced those crashes so far. I'm not playing that often however. Like "No Use For A Name" said, my main issue with Teamspeak is the continuous chatter that is really annoying. I see a lot of people ending in different channels. From what I remember there was a couple of keys you could bind to teamspeak to switch channels, I guess I should try that. Exactly.

Some servers disable it ?

Because of all the guys playing CoD 4 and all the other games where every single sniper takes a shot and *WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFF* all the air of the his lungs after...... Someone missed something somewhere and now lot's of people have that misconception.

If you take the "Radio" slidder up in the audio option in Arma, you will hear them just fine. I dont know about muting the channel however.

Just curious. Everyone says get on teamspeak, blablabla. Then you get on teamspeak and you just ear everyone talking at the same time. Everything is included in the ingame voice chat, global, vechicle, side, etc. What did I missed about TeamSpeak that is so important ?
