The first game patches should contain fixes towards game stability like CTD, basic game functionality-bugs like VOIP not working and bugs that in any other way make the game unplayable for large amounts of players. Everything else is secondary. Thank you.

I too would like to see this removed. I bought the dvd version because i was afraid of steam compatibility for future mods etc. But i also loathe joggling discs around when playing and hate the drive noise as well, so here i am. I just don't understand why they need it. Isn't the online check of serial numbers enough? The market for playing this as a single player can't be big no? So i really hope you guys consider removing the disc check. Thank you.
