  1. Thanks guys, I ended up just assigning optics to my side button. It think this works better anyway because even when the right mouse button is working properly with the shared functions you always have that slight delay while the game decides if you are clicking or holding. Having optics on the side button means I can snap in and out of optics more rapidly. It's going to take some getting used to, though.
  2. I fired up ARMA 2 yesterday for the first time in a while and suddenly I am having trouble brining up my optics. I am using the default controls, which has optics assigned to Sec Mouse Button and hold breath/zoom/report target assigned to Hold Sec Mouse Button. If I unassign all of those command from Hold Sec Mouse Button, then my optics work fine. However, with the default controls it seems like clicking the Sec Mouse Button does not work reliably. Sometimes I will not bring up my optics, sometimes I will. Often I will notice my view very briefly beginning to zoom in, like the game is getting confused between Sec Mouse Button and Hold Sec Mouse Button. I never used to have this problem. Is this something that's been introduced in a recent patch that I am unaware of? Has anyone else experienced this? It's really ruining it for me. :(

    Mouse Lag

I'm on a Core 2 Duo + Nvidia card. I've managed to increase the games performance to the point where the lag isn't bad at all and the game is completely playable, but you can tell it's still there. Sometimes, in heavy firefights near detailed areas, it can get kinda bad again. It was way worse in ArmA I. I couldn't even play that game.
  4. You have a different router, too, so it could be our router. I think I'm gonna' try updating the firmware on this thing. I hope it's not a Steam issue, because I don't see what I could do to fix it if that's the case.
  5. I'm having a lot of issues playing with my brother, who shares a router with me, in ArmA 2. Sometimes he cannot join games I am in at all, other times he will join but I will be disconnected, and in rare cases we can both join and play (but it seems like we eventually get dropped and it only seems to work on a few servers). Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this? I don't see any way in ArmA 2 to change the ports that the client uses and I'm not sure what else to do. I have a Linksys WRT54G rev 8.2 but I don't know if the router makes any difference. We are both using the Steam version of ArmA 2 and running Windows 7 RC1.
