Hmm, or was it Left Shift + NumPad - ? Nothing will happen when you type and you won't see what you type in, but when enter the last letter in the keyword the cheat should activate. Had to skip Manhattan myself once.

Loved the whole look and feel of this weapon. I don't know if the sound it makes is vanilla or not, but that silenced THUMP is awesome to listen to.

I think this is touching upon the real issue. I just saw a case is posted in the community issue tracker with the same info. I am sure a lot of frames per second are hiding here.
