This one, at least, works for me.
I suffered constants bsod because of the nv4_disp.dll. I tweaked a few settings on bios about cpu (disabling vanderpool, no intel speedstep...) and the bsod needed more time, but it happened after some time.
And the, checking my entire bios settings, i found that i had the: PCI memory remapping" enabled. I quickly disable it, and i could spend an entire day playing online without a BSOD at all (i suffered a few CTD... but nothing serious).
I have an Asus P5K, Intel E8500 oc to 3.8 (fsb raised to 400), 4 gb ram ddr2-800 kingston, Nvidia GTX260, windows xp with latest driver from nvidia (190.38 i think).
I'm playing at 1680x1050, memory at default, textures normal, AA to high, FSAA to high, shadows ultra-high, no post-processing, view distance to 4000, everything else set to normal. Gameplay is ok. (worse when there is grass around, perfect without it).
Hope it helps.
