  1. I think BIS should consider ArmA II multiplayer servers for this game only. 1.There are too many technical know hows in this forum and BIS should seriously consider a multiplayer ArmA II server team. ***For example 6-12 servers online anywhere from 12 to 100 players. ---They should also sponsor a mod enabled server and run votes in this forum on what mods to actually run from month to month, provide BIS sponsored instructions on how to install and run the mod on their server. 2.Then the complaints would be genuine and would save a lot of headaches on problems.
  2. I have browsed this forum and have noticed how many truly enjoy the soundtrack to ArmA II. I have decided to Calibrate the tracks and want to resell them to BIS for enjoyment? According to our rules RIAA(1992) only allows one private copy and so I cannot release here without approval of BIS gaming. Total running time of disc: 60min. 1411.2 kbps audio quality enhanced by at least +20db

    ArmA 2 multiplayer Servers only

There is no problem to solution in multiplayer and in my realm of thinking it is unprofessional. If you really expect people to pay for a game $50 then I would expect professional results? is the next question. Operaton arrowhead has enough hdd space to be considered a different game or maybe 2 at that--- I think solutions have to be resolved or this game is becoming a great concept without any clear direction. Besides who wouldn't pay for a 200-person multiplayer server if the expansions are so affordable?

    ArmA II Revamped soundtrack

The problem here is that the music is an add-on and according to administrators Alex 72, Wolle add-ons are ok to extract since it is part of the bis tools kit. The music is part of the add-on, and so I have contacted administrators for response and no response yet.

I have to have a simple direct response(yes or no) from BIS administration not some response involving some kind of ability phrase--that is extremely irritating.

    ArmA II Revamped soundtrack

I have not received a reply from BIS yet if I can release a sample and no one has mentioned it yet? I try and offer a good sound and people decide it is more laughter than serious, I don't understand this and cannot agree with such denial of my topic. If people don't understand how it can be done usually they don't say they know better, that is the perversion. How can responses like this be considered tolerable--- I am someone who is offering to the community and checking on a forum to find out if it is ok to release the music from the game ArmA II?

I only need authorization from BIS so I can release this album. I would like to resell at $4 a copy.

Unter AFB--Attack Full boat is online and is similar to what is described. NO arty but infantry based search to destroy. Thread: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=92749&highlight=Unter+AFB
  10. After searching the forum there is no mention of adjusting the water level in Utes--- I think this would be a feature where boats could come in more inland to engage in combat. Can you adjust the water level? It makes more sense that changing weather conditions would also change tides.

    Tide/Water level Arma 2 Utes?

Every time I have suggestions people just like to put wood on my fire---It is becoming far too obvious just how contrary the intent has become. The tides don't change in Utes night or day. This Utes island is missing a huge factor in combat fighting--- It should change over 100meters of combat area.

    ArmA 2 multiplayer Servers only

I am not sure if people are following the logic and actual simplicity of my comments. the way I formulated my comments was statement followed by details to support my statement. I know for some this could be misleading if only you like to bother the statement with your own details and not the details that are actually written. In my research this forum has three times as many problems, complaints than any other game. The easiest way to solve this **multiplayer set of problems is to have BIS set up their own professional servers and actually get at solving problems rather than having a bunch of amateured servers who make up details as they go along.
  13. The server read through on the wiki is impossible to understand. Please label the steps clearly like the map tutorial so people can follow the instructions. Example 1. Server -config has to be utilized in the following manner to enable the functionality of these paramters, etc Example server -config file. 2. Once -config file is created launch parameters must be typed in by following this exact outline, etc. The information in the wiki is too vague and does not work. Please provide manual instructions in the games manual since the game supports an additional server.exe (I would not say this if the 1.05 patch and onwards did not include server.exe) people are not providing an adequate informative solution. The server.exe file does not work with my digital download. It should be much simpler not more difficult if the game includes a server.exe, bf2 has a very simple server.exe I think Bis should incorporate or endorse a server launcher and release something similar. (The games server is running over 300mb of memory compared to the server.exe of 70-80mb)
  14. 1.Nvidia has in its graphics driver release 195.62 the capability to decide any option 32bit/16-bit/8-bit. The strange thing is I could not notice a difference at a distance if looking at the desktop picture? There are some older games that do support lower bit displays--since Nvidia includes it in their recent driver options could this video game also include it in their display video options? 2.Variable bit rendering would also improve the performance problems--Again I don't know if this can actually be done but makes sense in the interim to render 16bit/8bit everything(models, characters, etc) that is not part of the viewing distance the player is immersed in, for example the tank, helicopter idling 2000 meters away. 3.A Video/Bit/view distance option would be nice where the first 30 meters could render 16-bit/high detail and 30-800meters 32-bit medium detail, 800m-2000m 32-bit high detail, etc. And you could release it as a tweak patch. More fine tuned options please. 4. A game from disc only--your demo is playable from disc only and find it much more convenient then installing the programs on a hard drive? From playing the game--- the demo played very good from disc only compared to actually installing the demo on hardrive? **Have the game split into two disks--one for singleplayer and one for multiplayer** both playable from disk. This makes more sense to me since even amplifiers that share the same stages are not as powerful as two separate stages--I am thinking this concept applies to files also, if you share across single and multi player the same files you will have more problems since you are sharing and not independently processing, meaning you are losing quality rendering since both single/multi share the same files. 5. Have different system specs for servers--The single processors can host 64 players? there is no limit on hosting in this game. Then you can have the servers specs listed so you know they can handle the load, say for example allow one computer for each of the gameplay types available and then have mod server playing a polled winner mod, and then lastly a server playing a different mod the community votes on every week or any time period. ***notice all suggestions copyrighted***

    32bit/16bit/8bit video option--Disc play only?

Streaming technology supports why nothing installed on a hard drive would work better since it is streaming meaning the rendering problems is there in the beginning but as the game demo processes all the shutdowns would be minimal since both are streaming devices. Try it out for the large problems with video cards, etc.---- consoles do the same thing. Example where streaming processing numbers are not the deciding factor: ATI does this in there video card load 800 streaming processors compared to Nvidia's 240? This does not mean Nvidia is not a better performing card. (ATi and Nvidia are registered trademarks) Same concept applies here for haveing 2 disks one for multiplayer and anther for singleplayer.

    32bit/16bit/8bit video option--Disc play only?

This to me is the same reasoning as when a feather is dropped compared to a cannonball, human sense says the cannonball falls to the ground first but in reality they both fall at the same rate--so the speed of the hardrive makes no difference compared to how much data is processed when gaming since the disk is not part of the system-- the speed of the cd/dvd-drive just needs to display instead of actually process and display like your hardrive would and so would be expected to be at least twice as fast as a cd/dvd drive. This route like console gaming(ps3) is more efficient and a lot more convenient--less stress on the system more memory where you need it the most, etc.

    32bit/16bit/8bit video option--Disc play only?

I am saying that if you do download the demo it is playable from disc and I have had less problems playing from disc. The game as a whole I think would be more manageable on disk--I can play Activisions World at War from their DVD and it plays very good. Activisions Call of duty Series has variable bit rendering where the closer you are to textures the more 16-bit they are until the player(s) are at a distance from the objects enough to look detailed. Some other of their textures are very detailed while others are not detailed at all. The 4th game and 5th game in series are very similar.
  18. The future of video gaming---the personal computer controls a modified environment much like a remote control. You have actual computerized realistic autobots-- The players you control are on wireless frequency from your home computer that you buy as a game muck like a video card except the video card is the frequency controller. Say you buy 60 frequencies for $60000 for a squad of 30 combat players and 4 assault vehicles and building atmosphere at a remote location. The atmosphere you play in could be surrounded by High definition camera's so your viewing experience is for the most part realistic, but ported for your pc. The company of course provides the atmosphere and autobots are bought like a video card say for example Terrain Combat Autobots. Wind effedts, realistic autobot shooting of ammo directly from autobot held weapon true to scale, etc. sound effects included as part of triggering the frequency to shoot a certain calibre weapon. All atmospheres could be calibrated from actual distances and built to scale in an enclosed buildable atmosphere including real grass, dirt, cement, bricks etc. the autobots could be fake skinned and calibrated from real dimensions to also look real. Helicopters could be built of actual same metals/alloys but to scale and would fly only in the atmosphere enclosure built. All effects would be real time. So you could incorporate massive industry to support this style of video gaming. The stakes would be very high if you damaged your autobots, so are the investments. This would truly be an adult gamers paradise. You would charge for autobot spectators, etc. and could be watched internationally as an event much like olympic sports on your local television or as said above spectate as an autobot for admission--- attend a large gaming complex built specifically for this atmosphere and place local bets on the events. All businesses involved would be in the stock market. Everything would be real except actually fighting in the atmosphere. So this would be an actual way of living, people would be actually working real time with the video game autobots. The atmospheres would be calibrated from real time scientific data in that area, etc. Workers would be replacing autobot torn grass from a tank, autobot replacement when wounded, etc. All would cost something to replace but the stakes are high and so are the investments, Adult gaming.

Remote Control Personal computer or great movie script?

The reasoning why I think a video game connection would be useful instead of people buying 3 video cards and 6-core processor--- This game really can drain processor and game cards, so it makes more sense now to build a game processor unit that others can connect to so they can be supplied with all the processing requirements the game requires. I don't know if this is possible but it follows with logic that it is and the next level of gaming systems.

How then can your quote be wrong? I was editing the whole time while you were responding to just parts of my post? You've debunked nothing--but what?--a trip on acid--I will save for others to experience/read.

Remote Control Personal computer or great movie script?

Building smaller models scaled in reality makes more sense than making larger than life creations and sending actual humans. We are witnessing time in reverse here for all practical purposes. How is it man can achieve 8 meters persecond without first building a smaller model to achieve this speed like a remote control? 3.5 x times human pace in logic with small remote controls makes more sense than your ILM book writing by some human who could have made a human mistake. Humans are backwards for all purposes--all examples in physics/animal footage show smaller is faster, yet humans do the exact opposite and build smaller go-karts slower than racecars, etc? a shrimp strikes a clam with a speed of 8 meters per second, actually showing footage on television light being emitted from work being done from this force times distance. It does make sense to build remote control models to go into space with a smaller autobot to withstand the force of space rather than actually sending a human or dog, chimpanzee, etc. No human will travel to another earthlike planet without first building a remote control autobot pilot system to collect the data first--- like a satellite for example but more complex so it is on and exploring another earthlike planet-- It is just much safer and logical. Same concept applies here but on this planet, a remote control like for example robotix--this is a good children's toy example but for adult gaming. I have explained the basics we are not talking humans actually playing in a video game, I am talking about 4" remote controlled components that are programmable much like your computer to interact with other components. Instead of you buying 3 video cards the video game developer would have the ideal configuration already set-up for lets say 400 players on their processing system that you would pay a monthly fee to connect to. IN my opinion if you can provide an 8Mgps line for downloading then this is possible to provide a video gaming connection.
  22. I have been reading the forum topics and have come across armaholic.com and f2 developmental framework for building/editing Arma 2 missions. Are these actual legal downloadable content that Bohemia interactive endorses or are these hacks that work with the game? http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=81694&page=7

Remote Control Personal computer or great movie script?

Actually you have introduced that it cannot be done? I am going with your idea and disproving your ILM statement that is how logic is done. Here is a simple logic proof: when confronting any problem you need to compliment the problem before you can understand to prove it is wrong. So if for example anyone on this forum cannot compliment the system first then they cannot prove it wrong. the most simple example is the arcade displaying a car game/motorcycle game where you are on a motorbike and racing, or paperboy where the handlebars are actual bicycle handlebars, but it is not possible? I think people are just not bothering to read the whole topic that I have introduced. Very simple to have miniature model trains for R/C or r/c cars that go 160mph at 1/8 scale but no you cannot possibly build an r/c interactive environment for the PC? http://fastestrc.blogspot.com/2008/03/guinness-world-record-for-fastest-rc.html

How can nasa simulate space on earth and train for space missions? What you are telling me is that humans cannot recreate an autobot(human like robot) to duplicate this exact action?
