  1. Just so you get both sides: I've had nothing but trouble with my Xfi since upgrading to Win7. From being unable to select more than one input channel at a time in the recording properties, to frequent hangs on shutdown, to the card sometimes not being found by windows at all on start up. Nothing but grief.

    Vehicle towing script

It occurs to me that it might be possible to use a modified version of this system to make objects/vehicles which are being carried by helicopters behave in a more realistic way (i'e swinging around when the helo changes vector). For example if the helo slows down rapidly and stops, the cargo being carried underneath continues to swing forward etc. Possible?

    3 weeks = hopeless Arma 2 addict!

When you do take the plunge online I strongly recommend you find an organised group and play with them on an admined server. The public servers can have their moments, but generally can just devolve into huge, rambling messes of frustration, tking and glitchiness... or just dull inactivity. Find a group who run an organised approach to missions however, and that budding love you have for ArmA will bloom tenfold...

Excellent work :) Hopefully can be worked into getting the trains hooked up at some point too ;)

    Hello from Devilman

It supports multiple controllers so you could have (and I do) a gamepad, wheel and joystick all bound and usable. 360 pads are supported by default complete with their own scheme built in.
  6. What he said, this level of detail in more cockpits would be lully. See, you've spoilt us already and it's not even out ;) Good work, really exceptional.

    JTD Fire And Smoke

Great, but no roaring sound? (also, will these secret birds conflict with the SLX boirds?)
  8. Looks kick ass Fortran. Hope you plan to do other plane/chopper cockpits like this! Superb effort!

    Star Wars Stormtrooper

Exciting stuff McRuppert. Can we assume you got somewhere with the walking on that first model then if you now making a model of your own?
  10. Good work. Can I suggest adding buttons that use setaperture so you can just set the aperture to one that suits the time of day you're using for your mission and then edit like that (to avoid the flickering that's a product of the fast camera movement typical in editing and can be seen in that vid). Just an idea.

    WhatEverFeeling

I'm all for the FOV, Zoom and UI colour/size tweaks here but in the post you linked you say: "and it also changes several combat feeling aspects such as accuracy, dispersion," Which isn't so good as it means you won't be able to take advantage of the zoom etc tweaks as a client-side only mod because your accuracy, dispersion etc will mismatch the server. (unless installed there too ofc) Maybe have these two different 'parts' of the addon as separate, independent pbos? Before it comes up, I hardly see zoom and FOV tweaks as cheats, even if they are client side only. It's about personal preference in terms of usability.

    Motorcycles

Steering with a Wheel controller works really well with the bikes I find.
  13. A giant, really, really, really (like, for real), walking robot has been top of my wanted addons list for ever. /me keeps hoping the clever modders out there will keep trying now we've got the new animation possibilities mentioned above...

    CAA1 public release

any idea why my RPT is full of the below? Error in expression <d = true }; } forEach (cba_events_keys select (_this select 1)); _handled; > Error position: <select (_this select 1)); _handled; > Error Zero divisor File x\cba\addons\events\fnc_keyHandler.sqf, line 41

    trackir 5 question

left and right leaning works fine. Rolling isn't supported but leaning should work fine (does for me on TIR5) as long as it's bound in the controls.
