Hello all, its been a while since my last appearance on these forums :D I'm back with some questions pertaining to ArmA 3 with a mission I am making that's all focused on being a Littlebird pilot. I am making this mission with the idea that you will never leave the helicopter and if it is destroyed, that is mission over. With that being said my questions are... 1. What can I do to tell my mission that if the helicopter becomes unable to fly (total engine failure, no way to fly at all) to end the mission as a failure, much like the helicopter showcase from BI. I have looked this one up and haven't found a working command for ArmA 3 2. Is there a command that makes a helicopter land in a specific spot? i've seen people do this and have AI helicopters land in a very tight spot in the same spot every time in their missions and I figured this must be some kind of command. I seem to think the guy used a marker and they landed on that spot every time, i cant quite remember. and lastly 3. How do I use the new virtual and non virtual artillery modules in ArmA 3? is there a tutorial someone can link me to? Thanks for any help in advance and I hope you have a good day.

Hey guys, I have another question. Im trying to set that when a specific group members enter a trigger, it succeeds the objective. ive tried grouping the learder and all but the mission just succeeds even when they aren't present in the trigger, what can I do to stop this?

Thank you for the speedy response, I figured the artillery modules weren't working. ---------- Post added at 01:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:44 PM ---------- When I use "canMove Heli1" it auto fails the mission even when all is good, why is that?? ----------------------EDIT----------------------- I got it to work, all I did is put an exclamation point at the beginning of the command.

I don't believe the Lite versions get the betas tab, heck i dint even know if they get updated period

Hello all, i am having an issue with Arma 2 that no matter where i go i cant get an answer for. I have Arma 2 downloaded from D2D on patch 1.02 and i have had the game since day 1 but i recently installed a fresh copy of windows and now whenever i go to patch from 1.02 to 1.05 or 1.02 to 1.04 i am confronted with these errors [see spoiler] This seems to be a known problem in the Arma world but no matter where i go or what i do i get no where, and trsut me i have done ALOT of looking in forums everywhere. Thanks in advance for any help

Hello all, I am currently trying to patch my Arma 2 and im having alot of problems I have a legit game from Direct 2 Drive running on patch 1.02 When i go to install any of the patches that allow you to skip others i run into a big error and its happening to multiple patches, not just one Here is a video demonstration -----------------> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jONg9MfwTZc&feature=youtu.be If this is i common problem then please direct me because i cant find anything exactly like this

I got to go to work but i will definitely give this a try, This is causing me to have alot of problems in CO, cant join multiplayer and half the UI doesn't work wish me luck! ;)

I tried those patches and it did the same thing, i even tried it in safe mode and it was doing the same thing. I also tried a reg fix for the directories of the game because i was having an issue there, it fixed my reg issue but not the PBO one. I have had Arma 2 and OA on two different machines and have never had this problem Someone please help ):

i am building a new computer with the goal of playing arma 3 with no problems and i was wondering if an AMD 6 core Processor was necessary? i dont know much about processors but it seems to be a duel between this and an i7. and do u guys think a 550 TI would be a good graphics card?

I was just wondering how the Series is coming along as far as performance, i havent played it for a year now and i would like to start it again....thats unless its still the laggy mess i left a year ago

well, i wont have to worry about much of than seeing as it will be an already built PC with a good PSU and GPU.....most likely going with the 6 core

i am new to ArmA and am currently working on a map involving destroying a base and whatnot the players main objective is to clear a town and base (which are very close together) and an optional 3 encampments i have no idea how to do this, and i also want to make a description for the map but don't know how to do that either i plan on uploading this to ArmAHolic so anyone who helps me will get credit :)
