I sort of diesagree with how some people are saying that they shouldn't make the famous large scale battles as they have been overdone. My opinion is if they can do it while taking advantage of all the game's features and capabilities, it will become something much more interesting than CoD5. Small village skirmishes are great but be sure to throw in some large battles as well. One thing that I feel simply must be done with an ArmA2 easten front mod is the battle of kursk. The largest tank battle in history. I would love to see that attempted and i feel that this is one of the only games that can pull it off. I also love the idea of the what-if campaign. The idea above (germans invading england) is great. What about also if the Japanese hadn't attcked Pearl Harbor and the Americans hadn't entered the war? One last thing that I think would be great is some 1946 scenarios. What if the germans had held the allies off long enough to complete some of they're very ambitious projects? Things like the Maus (Panzer VIII) tank, guided missles, supersonic jetfighters and other things.

Is there anyone else besides me that feels that there should be a german campaign aswell? I think that would be really cool.

OH GOD PLEASE! Been waiting for something like this since the game came out! Anything WWII is good for me.

I recently made a thread concerning WWII content for arma2 wondering if any such content existed but it was closed and I was directed here. I was wondering if any WWII content exists for arma such as tanks, infantry, weapons, airplanes and other things. I have done some searching but haven't found much. If somebody could tell me if any such mods exist it would be much appreciated.

I called a BB nearby and they said they don't know when it will be arriving. Seeing as I live in Canada I guess I'm out of luck. Quite a shame that I have to wait 3 weeks after a game is supposedly released to buy it.

I called EB games again today and they said it has been pushed back yet again to tomorrow (july 24).

EB games in canada (at least in the toronto area) should have them today. I will try to pic up a copy and post the result here. Edit: I called EB games and they said that it has been postponed yet again to tomorrow (July 23rd). They said to call back tomorrow to see what's up.

Same here! I was looking forward to buying the game today but now it's been postponed 10 days?! What gives?

I am thinking of purchasing this game and i was wondering how well it would run with my current hardware configuration. My system's specs are as follows: OS: Vista 64-bit Intel i7 920 CPU @ 2.67 GHz 8gb ddr3 RAM ATI Radeon HD 4670 512mb I have another computer available which is better but it would be much more convenient running the game on the one listed above. What kind of performance can I expect out of this computer? Will i ever experience any lag? If so, to what extent?
