i played operation flashpoint which had the perfect AI
i could make a convoy of 100 vehicles and they never crashed into eachother or sway left and right off the road then only problem OFP had was they didn't stay close enough for it to call a convoy
arma 1 & 2 NEVER had a good AI and the most anoying about arma 1 & 2
this is my wish
create a Good Driving AI for convoy's very close together
dont know exactly what you want but i'll try
you want to have a chopper move to a new waypoint when a greensmokegrenade is trown.
so you have to work with triggers and waypoints
create a small trigger at the position where you want the chopper to pick you up
that trigger should be activated by de side you play
in the condition of the next way point of a chopper you put this
extraction == 1
this will make the chopper wait untill extraction = 1
in the trigger you put in the activation field
extraction = 1; S1 fire smokegrenadegreen;
S1 is a soldier in your group who will throw the green smoke genade
you have to name one of the soldiers to S1
you also have to equip S1 with an smokegrenadegreen otherwise he cant fire it

allot i do remember cause generally allot stayed the same

i remember when i was editing for ofp 8 years back :rolleyes: time flies :P
i could simulate mortar fire or artillary using a triggers
even with the wissle sound from incoming shells befor they hit the ground
only i can't remember how i did that
the only thing i only recall the word "shellhit"
