I wonder if thats the case on my end....and if reinstalling would help?

Hey fellas Yeah im having an issue. I tried the ArmA 2 Demo first before I bought the retail version, the demo played real smooth with no issues. So I figure ok this is working well and its fun, so I'll buy it. So I buy it and I cant even make it passed the main menu before I get a CTD, and if I just sit at the main menu it'll eventually CTD, plus anything I click also causes a CTD. This is what im running Operating System: Windows Vistaâ„¢ Ultimate (6.0, Build 6002) Service Pack 2 (6002.lh_sp2rtm.090410-1830) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: System manufacturer System Model: System Product Name BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+ (2 CPUs), ~2.5GHz Memory: 4094MB RAM Page File: 2217MB used, 6146MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 10 DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 6.00.6001.18000 32bit Unicode GFX card is a 9800 GTX 512mb I've tried running the game in compatibility mode for windows xp and that didnt work, I DL'd the latest drivers and that didnt work. So right now im just kinda stuck, any of you guys have a suggestion?

I played the demo well with no ctd's or anything yet for some reason I buy the retail game off steam and I cant even get past the main menu, everytime I click an option no matter which it is the game CTD's.....Good times.
