  1. Great job on the latest version!

    Congratulations and thanks for sharing :)

    On thing, maybe a bug report or a feature request:

    The MG of the M48A3's commander cupola can only be operated if turned out.

    While I don't know if this is realitic or not, I'd humbly ask for one of two options (if you ever patch Unsung for A2 again, that is):

    -Either make the MG useable when turned in too, or

    -remove the MG completely and replace it with a periscope only.

    The reason for the request is, that now you can not move the view vertically when turned in because of the well known engine limitation.

    This renders the commander a bit useless unless you are on an extremely large bit of flat ground.

    Anyway, no biggy.

    Enjoying UNS a lot so far and am looking forward to see it again in A3 :)

    Oh, and maybe you could put the backpack proxy on the soldier models without modelled backpacks, at least.


  2. Have any of you experts tried getting rifle grenades into ArmA 3?

    I ported a G3 assault rifle with rifle grenades, and while the weapon works flawlessly, the rifle grenade does not show up when it's loaded (I can switch to it normally, it fires as it is supposed to,...)

    It seems to me that 'modelSpecial' does not work for rifle magazines anymore, only for launchers (this used to work in ArmA 2).

    Strange enough, the view axis stored in the modelSpecial's memory LOD isused - just the correct view LOD doesn't show up (?).

    Any ideas?

  3. not much in editing ATM, and I usually work with 1.0 (or more) version of mods.

    as long as HIP is not 1.0, I don't think I'll work on it.

    however, I think when 1.0 is released and if we have a complete classlist.txt file with it, I may work on making SP missions

    Well, that's your choice of course, but a bit ridiculous. HIP is definitly more '1.0' than many mods out there.

    You definitly can't judge the state of any mod by it's version number.

    And the classlists are pretty much complete too.
