My system is as follow. I7 960 8g ddr3 1600 vista 64 nvidia 295 I have tried all the tweaks listed here and at other places. I have tried the current drivers for the 295 as well as the current beta driver and the last two drivers before the current one. I continue with out fail to get "Arma Has Stopped Working". It does not tell me more than than unfortunately. I have searched these forums for a solution and found others with the same problem but no answers. Is it true that lesser systems/shittier rigs actually run this game better than the high end stuff?

Since I don't get any fixes from my other post I figure I would start 2 threads and double my chances of getting a reply. After 10-20 minutes of playing with out fail my game totally crashes to desktop and it says. "ArmA 2 Has Stopped Working" That's it. Nothing else. I have an I7 920 Vista 64 295 6 Gig Sadly I have absolutely no life with little else to do here but continue to start threads asking for a fix to a game that I was told would run fine on my computer. A simple reply from Bohemia telling me to fuck of will be fine. A reply saying we are working on your issue and there is currently no fix will be fine also. A reply saying we are currently working on your issue is not ok.

Just to be sure that everyone knows but there is a large portion of the community that is unable to play the game at all. These are mainly high end users who for the most part either dont' have a life, me, or have a high disposable income but on average are hardcore gamers who have been through their fair share of game releases and are knowledgable enough to work around release issues but for some reason CAN NOT PLAY THIS GAME AT ALL!! Do you think Bohemia knows this? I can't find anything within the forums where they acknowledge this? Also, I was reading the paper today and found some interesting stats. I figured cussing and being an idiot would at least get me banned and or posts deleted which is basically what I am going for as then I would know they are at least reading these.

If I'm nvidia I'm saying, "Our cards and drivers work on every other game out there and you seem to only have this issue with Arma 2." This would all be much better if someone official would at least tell us 295 owners something. Anything. It doesn't matter what they say just that they are aware, which I'm sure they are, but I have seen nothing to make me thingk that.

With out fail every game I play crashes within 10-20 minutes of playing. I get no error messages and it simply comes up and says "ArmA2 Has Stopped Working" nothing else. This goes on and on. What is the solution to this? I7 920 Vista Ult 64 6g Ram - 1600 295 - 7.15.11.8250 I run 3dmark and Prime stress for hours with no issues. I run crysis, MOW, any other game you can think of for hours with no issues. What is the problem here? None of the files asked to upload appear anywhere. I understand the attitude of devs not being able to fix everyones problems but there seems to be a few more in this game than most on release with drastically fewer fixes. My clan mates all with far inferior rigs seems to run with no problem and from what I have read it is the players with high end PC running the most up to date hardware with the most issues. Have the devs simply catererd to a broder market and are taking a wait and see approach for those with more disposable income?

Lock ups? Crashes? What are you talking about. I have already said, on numerous post (Guess I can start some more) that with out fail the game simply crashes to desktop and says "Arma 2 Has Stopped Working" that is all it says. It doesn't only do it when I fire, or when I'm driving, or when I'm flying, or in a town, or in the water, or in a field, or on a road, and I also well not eat it on a place, or on a train, or in the god damn raid, I hate green eggs and ham i am. It always crashes. There is no rhyme or reason to it. Unfortunately I am in no ways nearing as computer literate as the rest of you because if I was I could surely identify a repeatable problem and make the necessary ajustments while waiting for a long term solution. Unfortunately these crashes are TOTALLY FUCKING RANDOM and happen with out fail regardless of what I am doing with no sort of error to help reverse engineer. Well where the hell is xxx. I will be absolutely amazed if by some crazy account the solution to all these issues has been lying within my log. It isn't the only option. At least in Arma 1 sure it was fucking glitchy but you could at least play it. In our case we can't even play the game we paid for. THAT is unforgiveable. Did the nvidia patch for the beta driver work for anyone here? I get frustrated after searching these forums and then reading through every relavant thread but none seem to have any answers and more frustrating none seem to have any responses from any at Bohemia. I'm not lazy and I could do this myself but has anyone actually seen a member of Bohemia actually come in here and solve a problem?

Any help on this guys from anyone? The only solutions I ever see posted are, please upload your error files, that doesn't really sound like a solution to me and others have already upload with the same system specs and errors. So should I basically just be patient and come back in a few weeks?

If you are referring to the three items that I need to open and upload i am well aware of those but no where in there does it say "faulty module" so where do I find the faulty module? I'm not sure about Jepaul but I've searched through those files many times trying to find the script "faulty module". Am I missing it? So youre saying if we upload those files we will get a fix? I read all those post on there and quite a few guys have already upload files that are using 295's just like jepual and I and are getting the same errors? Should I go ahead an upload mine as well for redundance sake? I will say though in Jepaul's defense you guys that seem to have all this patience with Boh can say that alot easier seeing as how your game actually works. Mine, and I assume Jepaul's still, doesnt even work and thus I can't play the game. So really the only option I have is to come on here every few hours and post. Fortuanantly I heva a little more going on in my life than Jepaul apparently but still enough time to ruffle some feathers with the hope of finding a solution.

Exactly, I wish I could simply play the game for more than 10 minutes without it crashing. If your talking about whiners I guess it would be anyone with an issue other than not being able to play at all. To me not being able to play at all would be the biggest issue.

So I wake up this morning after a playing a little bit last night. Did my litle nvidia upgrade and all that and BBOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!! "ARMA 2 HAS STOPPED WORKING" Well no fucking shit Arma 2 has stopped workg since i'm looking at my desk top. I also bit the dumbass up at Bohemia still haven't taken the time to even respond to my threads with a simple FUCK YOU stop flameing the forums!!!! Not a sinlge fucking thing. It is a damn shame that the state of PC games atm is that I really don't care to play anything else and sitting here bitching about a game I paid $50 and can't run on my PC is about as entertaining as it gets. Do not let these people lie to you. Of you course YOU WILL NOT be able to run arma. I have an I7 295 8g ddr3 vista 64 And I can not run the game. Or when i can run the game it crashes within 20 minutes everytime. And everyone who has my type of set up crashes also. So conventional wisdom would say that since my rig is larger than your and I can not run the game you will notbe able to to run the game either.

I have a good idea when you start up the dl manager you will find you didn't down load the game all the way. Same thing happened to me. I thought I had the entire dl because the folder was there and the set up file but I really hadn't dled all of it. When I started the dl manager up again it starting ticking off at like 70% lol. when it finished it installed fine.

Jepaul I have posted another thread outlining the same issues you are having as well. Jepaul have any of these tweaks helped yours at all? It doesn't seem to be a settings issue for me as it actually seems to do it quicker when everything is turned all the way down for me.

Dead I have the same issues over and over as Jepaul. Where do I find the faulty module information?
