Hey guys, I've been looking around for good Warfare maps to play and I've seen a lot of people talking about Warfare Benny Edition. I downloaded, but when I start it up there are no bots and the menus are in German. Anyone else had this problem before? Would really appreciate some help. If you know of any other good warfare maps please let me know! Cheers. -
This happens almost always; I'll be playing and then about 10 minutes in, the Arma II startup screen will appear but ill still be able to play, but once the startup screen as vanished everything starts going blurry as if water has been splashed on the screen and it doesn't go away. I disabled post-processing effects and that seemed to solve the problem. Yup, I bought the German version, used the English conversion patch and am using an English crack so maybe that's where the problem lies. -

Is there maybe a way to disable the water effect that appears once the start up logos have disappeared. If I can get that away I'll be happy because right now I can't see sh*t. -
Hey guys, when I first installed Arma 2, I made a few config tweaks to improve performance. One of the tweaks I made was to decrease the level of detail that objects have at a distance. All objects outside about a 10 metre radius would have very low levels of detail, but now it's starting to irritate me as it's very noticable when an object changes its level of detail. The problem is that I've forgotten what setting I changed in my config and was wondering if anyone would possibly know.

Okay, this may have been asked before, so I'm sorry if it has: the OP said he put his Arma II folder into the ramdisk folder. Now what happens if we don't have 8.5GB of RAM (I only have 4)? Is that the end of the road for us or is there something else we can do? -

I dunno if it's been asked before, but why can I only spawn at my HQ? Everytime I die I have to travel 10 minutes to get to the battle again. :(

For some reason it never manages to load this map. I waited for it to load the map and after 5 minutes I gave up, it shouldn't take that long. Does anyone know what the problem could possibly be? I'm running Arma II v1.03.

Yeah, this mod is really cool, but all I've noticed is that my viewdistance is almost non-exsistant now. :( Amazing job you did here though! -
What I mean by bugging out is that you can't take towns over anymore when you load a saved game with this map. :(

So far while playing warfare, I've only noticed the enemy AI defending each and every town I come across, but they never seem to mount an offensive against my base or towns that my team has captured. So my obvious questions are: 1) Why are there enemies in every town I come across, how'd they get from their base to the town before me? They're even in the towns closest to my base. 2) Does the enemy ever build units, and come and attack my base and try to re-take towns that I've captured?

Oh okay cool, I've found a few green and red controlled towns so far. Do the opposing AI ever make organised massed attacks on towns like my AI team does? Because a lot of the time I'll roll into town with like 3 LAVs and about 4 Hummers (that aren't in my squad). But the most I've seen of the opposing red team is a T-72 and about 2 other light vehicles. :/ Guess I gotta wait for them to build up a sizeable force. -
How did you manage to get this map working in SP?! I get an error saying "No, player was selected!". :( All I want is the ability to be able to suspend/save my game without it bugging out when I load it, then I'll be happy. :)

No trust me, I read all 3 pages. Sorry but it doesn't seem very intuitive. That tutorial that you posted sadly didn't help me at all. 1) Do you mean "create new favourite", because my armalaunch v1.2 doesn't have create new profile. This part went straight over my head, I don't even know how to get the mods to appear in the damn application let alone activate them. -
Can I do this if I'm not the commander? EDIT: is it possible to limit the amount of bots that each squad can have because it's destroying my already crappy framerates. :/

I also noticed that once a town has been captured, the AI stay there for a VERY long time before they move off to the next town, can this be fixed?

Okay how do I actually add mods to Arma 2 using this tool? I tried dragging and dropping mods into the window but that didn't work...
