    Helicopter wont stop?

I'm an ArmA 2 Editor noob. I've only just worked out how to make a squad spawn in a flying vehicle. :shame: I've set a basic non-script Waypoint for an MV-22 and my squad to "GET OUT" at a location, and it worked. So I copy and pasted my squad and the MV-22 and had 3 landing simultaneously. No problems again. They land, get out, and group up ready for orders. I added a few enemies WAY off in the distance, that slowly make their way to a town that we have to take from Insurgents, so they act as reinforcements in a way, but now that enemies are on the map the MV-22 refuses to land. It just spirals and loops further and further away from the point I ask it to land. When issuing the command in game for ALL to DISMOUNT on the spot, they sometimes say "ROGER", and do it, sometimes say "ROGER" and don't, and sometimes just say "NEGATIVE" and carry on flying around until they get shot down by small arms. The annoying thing is, sometimes the 2 AI units land fine and are waiting there for my unit to land and synchronise. Not sure if I should've made a new thread for this, but you all seem to be on the topic of making aircraft land and I'm willing to branch out into scripts, so can anyone suggest anything to try? Maybe a script to force landing? Thanks.

    ArmA 2 (Cant finish installing)

I got mine working! My brother's Vista laptop could read the disk, but had no Hard-drive space, so I had to use my Dad's 16Gb USB and directly copy the disk's contents onto the USB, then installed from the USB. Worked no problem. Played it for about 8 hours, just making things explode in Editor. :)

    ArmA 2 wont install!

I managed to fix mine. I had to copy the disk directly to my Dad's 16Gb USB, on my brother's Laptop, then copy the files from USB to my gaming PC. Installed fine, now uses the disk to play. 25 FPS+ on Very High - I was surprised. Spent my first 6 hours on the Editor!

    ArmA 2 wont install!

That's what I started working on straight away. The PC had no hard-drive space, and it was my brother's, so didn't really want to dig deep into it, and my Dad's PC couldn't read the disk, so I'm using my brother's full Laptop, but transferring the disk straight to 16Gb USB Flash drive, and praying. If the files get snagged in that transfer, I'll have to risk a torrent just to play a game I've paid £25 for! Most of the torrents are missing a file too, and it happens to be one of the chunk that my PC doesn't like. I'll let you know how this goes, though. ---------- Post added at 06:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:45 PM ---------- Yes! transferred to USB fine, installing now, but can't foresee any more problems.

I also get the error: "File copy error (CRC does not match). D:\Games\Bohemia Interactive\AddOns\chernarus_Data_Layers.pbo" But the rest of the AddOns folder after that file is also completely untouchable. I'm actually tempted to torrent the disk to replace the missing files, as Support recommended I install the game from hard-drive, but the same files that wont install also wont copy to hard-drive! I'm not sure what else I can do to fix it, but I've heard that replacing the disk is pointless, as it's probably my computer's fault, and that's from people with similar issues and there's also the fact that the disk works fine on my PC that isn't capable of playing it. :-/

Hi guys. I registered just to join this topic. I've been having the same error! Install failed twice, in different places. I've tried updating my DVD-R (no newer drivers exist) and cleaned the disk a few times. Every time I copy the DVD to my hard-drive the same chunk of files fail to copy, about 100 of them in total! So installing from hard-drive really isn't an option for me. I don't really want to go back to the shop, because it wont be a guaranteed fix and it's a long walk in this heat, and I shouldn't have to put up with this in the first place! I'm tempted to just find a torrent of the game and download the files I'm missing, but that would be a definite last resort. I've contacted BI, but no reply. Any other suggestions?
