    Lost air support option

    Yes! The first time this happened I reloaded the mission from the beginning and confirmed I had air support (3x mortar strikes in Manhattan). I kept checking back to make sure they didn't go away and noticed that they did go away again after I ordered my chopper crew to pick me up. After getting back to base the arty support was gone.
