Strange Fps cap in MP mode

They need to fix this and stop blaming it on FRAPS (Funny, this is the ONLY game that it Doesn't give an accurate FPS reading ? Gimme a break.) It's obvious they've put a cap on it to get all clients to synch up.. But what good is synching when you can only run at 20 fps ? Sure it's not UNPLAYABLE but it's hardly PLAYABLE.

    FPS Issues?

Hmm okay, Thanks for the responses.. Yeah gonna check out a few "Fixes" I've found now like drivers settings and windowed mode etc.. CPU Is not overheating and GPU core is usually around 55-65c Processor is around 50-60c.. Yeah they really need to release another patch soon, And thanks for your responses.
  3. Hi, Firstly I would like to say just how incredible the Gameplay of ArmA 2 Is, I downloaded it from steam yesterday and have really only just started playing it but already think that It was a good choice in purchasing this game. Secondly - I seem to be having FPS Problems with the game... I can run the game in editor mode with max settings and get about 50-60 FPS.. I can run the game in campaign mode (Single player and Co-Op With a friend) and get about 20-25 FPS... But when I lower all settings the FPS stays at a constant 20-25. This reminds me of the "Computer Specification Scaling" that GTA IV had and It's a very bad marketing ploy (Basically game companies boost sales of processors and "New" GPU's and all that stuff by making you think you need a better PC For their games). Now, Is there a way to remove the FPS Limiter you have on the game ? (FYI PC Specs are AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.1GHZ Nvidia GTX 260 216 core 2Gig of DDR3 etc) I know that my computer is good enough to handle pretty much any other "Next Scam.. (I mean "Next Gen")" Game so why does this one have problems ? Many Thanks
