I disagree, they wouldn't know how wide spread issues were without people complaining. But your right people need to relax and wait the cursing etc certainly doesn't help. Nor does Bohemia calling customers morons. -

I dont want a war either, but saying it could be the end users fault when it clearly isnt is going a bit far. Im sure the ranting gets annoying but you have to see it from our eyes, we expect a game to just "work" not fidling around for ages or waiting for patches to sort it out before we can have an enjoyable experience. Maybe this is the norm for you but when i buy something i expect it to just work out of the box. -

How exactly is it my fault the game is not as advertised to me and many others? How is it my fault the game is buggy? Why should i have to research a game to find out if its playable? Are you being serious? I've never had to research a game to see if it was playable and not destroyed by game breaking bugs. I did play the demo and thats why i bought it. The demo ran ok of what i played on it. Your view it seems is if theres any problems its the users fault? I've tried all the so called fixes etc they dont work. So the problem is on BI's side as far as im concerned. -

It would only be the truth. If i knew the game would be buggy as hell before i bought it i would have avoided it. But all the advertisement shown was great looking bug free simulation fun. And i obviously didn't see what i expected. Very disappointing. ---------- Post added at 01:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:07 PM ---------- This is a post to be admired. As a new comer myself. I'm pretty shocked how the longer term players look at us. Seeing as this is our first glimpse at the game and genre and they think we should accept the issues that come with it as its a normal BI thing. -

Calling their own customers morons. How professional. Perhaps if Bohemia didn't release such a buggy game there wouldn't be so many "morons" posting complaints. You should have added the following bullet points to your list to sell the game. Buggy as hell, like ALL of our previous games You will have to troubleshoot your issues yourself even if its issues with the game that you cant fix Moderators will disrespect you 50% chance to run the game as it should without crashes or performance issues even on high quality computers Customers have every right to be angry, particularly when a BI representative on their forums are calling their very own customers morons. -

Thats the reason i stopped buying from dell/hp/toshiba/acer etc. They come with far to much bloatware.. I think you will find people that build up their own pc are a bit more knowledgeable than those that go into PCworld and take the one that looks the shiniest. -

Lol i done the same when i saw it. @op I'm new to Arma and this is the 1st BI game i have bought and probably the last because of all the hassle. People including myself are rightfully complaining because they have bought a broken/unfinished product. This is the only game I've bought that I've had such game breaking issues with. The graphics are not brilliant, the AI are nothing special so its hard to understand why the performance is so bad. I'm guessing this is why the game isn't that popular as i read the first Arma was exactly the same. I could easily go on ranting about the issues but whats the point? Its not going to fix anything and the endless whining will continue for and against BI. -
Money unfortunately not well spent

Got pretty much same as your comp, game is playable but its borderline (15-25fps). And for people saying turn settings down, it actually doesn't make much if any difference between setting it to high or low! That said.. i tried some multiplayer other night and got 60fps at start, i read some post other day that said when more AI is present the game uses LESS of your cpu than it does when theres lots of AI :S looks true..weird. Anyways i hope theres a nice patch coming soon, id like to play threw the single player without having to skip some missions. Also the choices i saw werent really choices.. kept looping back till i chose the one they wanted me to choose. Also the last mission had a tendency to crash every time i tried to save game lol. I want to hate this game as it really drives me up the wall but i just.......like the game. You should try some multiplayer and see if you get better fps like i did:P -
Get your money back. If your having problems installing the game just wait till after its installed.. Game crashes allot when i try to save progress :S cant get anywhere because of it atm.
-
Your right. Althow when FPS drops low(when i say low i mean under 25fps slideshow) even when you put everything on minimum you know somethings not right. Id like a consistant 25-30 even on the worst gfx settings. I get same fps on highest and lowest settings odd no? :S

Would somone be so kind and explain how i give my team ammo? Cant figure it out :( I was able to switch member of team in earlier missions that doesnt work now so cant do it myself, also when request help for rearm it just gives me some no voice.bin error.

I have same issue, regardless of settings fps 20-30, dont have a monster pc like some but it does the job for most games i play. Core 2 Quad Q6600 (oc to 3ghz) 4gb 800mhz ddr2 GeForce 9800 GTX+ Win 7 64bit I had the same problem with Warhammer online. Wonder if its related, was never able to sort it out and thus gave up on that game, hope it doesnt come to it on this one as i'm really enjoying the game even with some irritating bugs and not knowing how to do certain things :p And the tank flipping 360 degrees forward when going over a small stone is awesome :p -
Hi, i did make a thread but didnt get an answer. Hopefully you can help. How do you give your team ammo/new weapons(if you can)? Can you give them weapons off dead soldiers? If so how? Ive tried forum search/google search and even read the manual but doesnt help. So far only way to rearm has been from the base via the menu refuel, rearm, heal(or something along those lines) Thanks in advance:D

Heh i just tried 1 game MP got in chopper then the pilot flew it into the ground....i quit straight away lol.

Does team switch "pressing T" work for you now? i know it did in first few missions but i never needed it and now i do it doesnt work. I get other bugs also like not being able to move, team running in circles, team getting stuck on vehicles when walking bast them etc.. Oh forgot one, killing same enamy twice as he got up after i killed him :P
-
Even if you exclude the buying concept the enemy soldiers you kill carry plenty. I can easily loot them for myself taking whatever weapon complete with ammo, but how do i give that to my team is what i want to know. Its a little dissapointing that such a small thing is so difficult.
