Hmm, I really can't find the option which makes like rotors on helicopters show from a longer distance and not make vehicles looks plain from and lowdetail from distance. How do I make it better?

In the editor I set up two helicopters fighting eachother. The where flying away from me and the sound of the rotors go more and more quiet. But the sound of their guns where the same all the time. Like they were flying right over my head.

In a game as realistic as this this, I don't get why they haven't made it so that when you raise the scope of your gun, that only the picture in the scope zooms, not the whole world around you, too. I think it would be so much cooler and would give a much more realistic feel. I'm kinda new to this game, but I actually had hoped to see that feature since every kiddy shooter around zooms the whole picture when aiming down scopes. ---------- Post added at 03:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:37 PM ---------- Ah, sorry. Nevermind. I didn't remember correctly. When zooming with snipers the whole picture becomes the scope and when aiming down red dot sight, there ain't no zoom in red dots, I guess, so it must just be some kinda "focus" feature to be able to zoom with red dots.

I finally got my game working, I think. I've been crashing all the time, could play for 5 to 30 minutes and then crash. Almost always with the "error device removed" kinda error. I tried downclocking my GTX580 stock gpu with Xtreme Tuner Plus and now I have been playing all evening. Completed 3 showcases and played half an hour Wasteland online. I was running in total darkness with a gun and never saw anyone. Got shot a couple of times, though. I just don't understand this games multiplayer. Well, both BF3 and Arma 3 seems to be working for me now.

Great, I'm not the only one. My system i5 2500k GTX580 8b ram So, does ATI card crash, too or is it a NVIDIA problem only?

Do you guys get crashes in SP, too? I do, can play for something like 5 to 30 minutes. Then it crashes and minimizes. Sometimes I get an error saying something like DX-ERROR-DEVICE REMOVED...something like that, can remember the exact words.

Hey guys I've got a system capable of running this game ok. i5 2500k GTX580 8gb ram But I've got a problem that my game stops responding and minimizes after a few minutes. Can't actually play the game. Well, sometimes I can play for 20 minutes, but only like ones a day and only the first time I start the game. I have a very stable system, I never have any problems in other games and when operating the computer. I have read other people have this problem, too. And that it might have something to do with the 5xx series of Nvidia gpus. Something about the voltage of those cards. Nothing I know anything about. But do you know if these problems are due to end user problems or is it a typically error which will be corrected in the beta or in an alpha update. I hate having just bough the alpha and can't play it. Hoping for any knowledge.

Well, I don't know if it'll help with my problem since mine ain't OC'ed by manufacture. I use "Xtreme Tuner Plus" for controlling my gpu. I can see that gpu voltage is 1.000V/mv. Does that sound right, should I try to crank it up a nudge. By how much?

I might have overheated and ruined my overclocked cpu here in the sommerheat. It's an Intel E8400 3.0ghz (oc'ed 3.9ghz) If I am to have a new cpu, which one would fit this game the most? Is 4 cores the best, maybe?

Is there anything to do about the mouselag? It is so extreme in this game. Even when I got 60fps I have extreme mouselag. My mouse sensitivity is very low, it helps a little. By mouselag I mean, when I turn the mouse quickly I turn too much in-game because it doesn't stop turning at the exact same time as I stop the mouse.

Hmm, it took almost all the mouselag now it just moves very unprecise and jumpy. Am I the only one with those symptoms?

I'm new to the series and would like to know if there were any DLC for ArmA of if anybody knows if there will be DLC for ArmA2. I mean, is it normal for BIS to give os some weapons or vehicles once in a while or is all that up to modders from now on? I'm just asking out of curiosity...

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the G1-G18 keys on the G15 keyboard. Maybe you would be able to use them as some of the commands you use often instead of having to press a lot of numbers. For you guys who don't know what I'm talking about. On a G15 keybaord you have an extra 18 keys on the left side and in windows you can decide what these keys should do. That means I would be able to make it so that when I press G1 it would be the same as pressing 7-8 (go prone).

I don't know what you all are talking about. After installing the patch the hhd it's installed to is 0% fragmented en c: is 1% fragmented...and I ain't got any stuttering

I seem to have some soundissues, sometimes the radio and overall sound has a lot of scratching like if my teammates are speaking through a radio which has avery bad signal or is broken.

I still have mouselag with 1.03 even with 40fps. Will try to search for tweak, didn't know there were any...
