Just had an amazing weekend (not over yet!) playing Arma II online for the first time and it's probably the best game I've ever played. But enough gushing, it's not why I'm here and we all already appreciate how awesome Arma II is and the potential it has with some patching.
Back in the OP1 days, although I'm trying to recall gaming memories from nearly 10 years ago, it was possible to spot targets, so they showed up as dots and armor icons on other players' maps. Is it still possible to do this or does it just happen automatically now if another player has saw them? I seem to remember clicking them while using binoculars but this has no effect in ARMA II.
