  1. Name: Zack Age: 22 Location: Chicago (GMT-6) Microphone & teamspeak: yes (ventrilo as well) Languages: English Ready to pay for a server?: Not yet. Games: Arma2 User codename: saedrin ACE: No, but I can install whatever you require or suggest. Roles preferred: Sniper/marksman Time spent with Arma2 and skill/experience: Very little in game. I played quite a bit after release and then I became busy with school and work, leaving little time for FPS. I have RL long-range rifle experience, and I prefer long distance shooting. I'm a smart, quick witted guy and dead reliable. Just looking for a squad that needs some sniper support on their ops. Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

    Try right clicking.
  3. Recently I got Arma 2 working perfectly, no issues at all and I was a happy camper. Until today. Nothing on my system was changed, the last thing I did yesterday was play Arma 2, and now I'm having an interesting issue. My FPS is oscillating in a "sin wave" style curve, up and down, up and down, even when I stare at the sky and don't move, it's the exact same. I watch my fraps FPS draw a pretty wave graph on my keyboard while it does this. I notice also that my CPU usage has turned into a sin wave as well, as is my GPU usage. The hell????
  4. It doesn't work with the latest nvidia drivers on the GTX200 series cards. This is what I would classify as a "large oversight".
  5. Switching to the 182.50 drivers, enabling the -winxp -maxmem=2047 modifiers, and praying fixed it. :)
  6. Well I just fixed all of my issues by switching randomly to the 182.50 Nvidia drivers. Thank jesus and allah.

ALOT of lag in the co-op campaign?

We're getting network lag here over a LAN with 1ms pings mate...
  8. Arma 2 is running like total ass. 1st- I cannot change my video memory size or texture quality past normal, the options are missing. 2nd- The textures are randomly loading and unloading EVERYWHERE. The city looks like some type of retarded joke. 3rd- LOD is not working, and by not working, I mean working everywhere all the time. I can look at a humvee and watch it go from full detail to a block of ass and back within 5 seconds, without moving more than 10 feet away, even if I'm stationary. 4th- The lag, even on the lowest settings is random and annoying. It just goes from running fine to running like shit, randomly. My rig: Q6600 at 3.0 EVGA 780i motherboard EVGA GTX275 on latest nvidia drivers (yes I've tried the last three drivers as well) 8gb DDR2-800 Vista x64 screen: 1920x1080 What the fuck is this? ---------- Post added at 09:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:09 PM ---------- I just spawned in the middle of an ocean after starting a co-op campaign. THE FUCK?
  9. Like the title says, I've been having issues with my video settings in ArmA 2 so far. I cannot move the Video Memory or Texture Detail sliders to anything above "low" or "normal", there is no "high" or "very high" like I've seen in screen shots. I've tried a couple different nvidia drivers will still no luck... I searched and couldn't find a conclusive result to this issue beyond a bunch of hypothetical solutions. Changing the memory size in the .cfg to my card's memory in bytes does nothing either. Any thoughts?? System: Q6600 at 3.0 8gb ddr2-800 evga 780i evga GTX275 Vista x64
  10. Reverse the mouse assignments in the aircraft tab to use mouse down for pull up and mouse up for dive down. :p
