  4. I was playing a multiplayer mission the other day and the creator had managed to include fading credits at the beginning of the mission, "by blah blah" etc would fade in and out for the first minute of the mission or so. I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this?

    That only happens when i have enemies near by, if i clear the map and then try again it seems to work :mad: Very irritating :p

    It does have a chute but it disappears like 50% of the time and the create stops. However the other two creates seem to be fine. ---------- Post added at 08:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:44 PM ---------- Like 10% of the time the C130 seems to do what its told, the rest of the time it sometimes comes close and then turns away or doesnt appear at all! :@ I think it has something to do with if enemies are close or not, is there any way to make the C130 think the enemies are friendly or something to that effect?

  10. I will try and avoid using the eject script however if someone could solve that issue i was having i would be really greatful :(

The script seems to work perfectly when ejecting troops from a heli however now that i have applied the same script to a boat with an eject trigger at the LZ, the troops instantly eject from the boat at the start of the mission. However when the trigger is deleted the troops reamin in the boat until they reach the LZ and then obviously do nothing since the trigger is not present.     The placing of the heli pad seems to have made a lot of difference, i moved it by approx 10m and not it seems to work...interesting lol
  14. I changed them to all be the same after i discovered they were not working as i intended. I will try again though.

  17. It should work the way i have set it up, it works perfectly fine with helis...

I have been playing around for a few days now and have found no easy way simply to instruct an AI controlled squad to attack a village in any way it desires, i have had to add move waypoints which really remove randomness from the mission. I have had similar issues with defending AIs however solved that by placing a "dismissed" waypoint and then a "gaurd" waypoint to make their defence pattern pretty random (if anyone has a better way please do tell).
  19. The method i described above for the AI defending (dismissed and then guard) is there a better way to make them roam around but still guard an area?

    I have two vehicle drops occuring within approximatley 1-2min, when i have one vehicle drop setup (trigger, heli pad, etc) it works perfectly however when i do the second one only the one triggered first seems to work...is there anything specific i need to do to make them work? Like a specific time interval or something?
  21. I was under the impression i had set it to blufor? I might have changed it before i saved it when i was playing around with things to see if i could get it working. Edit: Yes it was a mistake, if you set it to BLUFOR they still eject at the start of the mission. ---------- Post added at 09:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:25 PM ---------- Bumpy?
  22. I dont want waypoints to appear on the map however eventhough i set it to "Never show" it still seems to appear?
  23. With seek and destroy can you simply place a seek and destroy waypoint in the village and then even if they are 10 miles away they will plot their own path etc?
  24. I am attempting to force a squad to use silenced weapons instead of the normal ones however cannot figure out how, any help would be appreciated :)
