  1. Hi there, I was getting tons of CTD's (crash to desktop) on the demo and was reading the forums, its been driving me nuts, so I decided to change some of the settings in the nvidia control panel in a profile for the demo, I have been able to play for a few hours and didn't have a CTD, normally it would CTD between every 5 or 15 minutes. So try these settings out if you have an nvidia gpu, they might help. Anisotropic Filtering: Global setting Antialiasing - Gamma Correction: Off Antialiasing - Mode: Global Antialiasing - Transparancy: Off Conformant texture clamp: Use Hardware Error Reporting: Off Extension Limit: Off Texure Filtering - Anisotropic sample optimization: Off Texture Filtering - Negative LOD bias: Clamp Texture Filtering - Trilinear optimization: Off Threaded Optimization: Off Tripple Buffering: On Vertical Sync: Force on With these settings I haven't had a CTD yet, I haven't narrowed it down to a single setting that might be causing a CTD though. Feel free to try it out and please reply if it seems to help, so others may benefit as well.
  2. Hi there, People can't connect to my server, but sometimes my server is full and sometimes there are people playing and it does not allow more players, they get dropped when trying to connect, this usually happens when I have a custom mission made with the mission editor. Is this a common problem? I think it is stupid that everytime when I think I have a cool mission nobody seems to be able to connect, such a waste of time, ports everything is configured, sometimes people can get on and most of the time they cant. All I see is: Player blabla connecting Player blabla disconnected Player jksdhsj connecting Player jksdhsj disconnected Player blabla connecting Player blabla disconnected Player oelle connecting Player oelle disconnected Is there a bug messing up the custom missions? I've tried resetting my modem, rebooting the pc, checking ports and everything seems configured correctly.
