:-) thanks champ explained in clear

hi guys started playing multiplayer last night and was expecting a big dissapointment in the frames - especially struggling with the single campaign stuttering. to my suprise i had all graphics turned up full on 1680x1050 and a fantastic smooth experience - running a 8800gts non overclocked. my distance meter was at 10000 but in single player i cant even get past 3000 then it all goes pear shaped?? does nayone know why sorry if this is the wrong thread to put this in:butbut::butbut:
