  2. Making good progress on the campaign mod, ive added new screenshots.

Hehe sry gulag, i know your not a noob, im the bloody noob m8, this is first thing ive made for any of the arma games so its me whos making a cockup with the pbo packing, what im going to do is keep the folders in there original state until someone wants to pack it for me, in the mean time ill just keep on with the missions editing, if anyone wants to pack the grass mod for me ill send you the original files with the edited config.cpp, anyway ive done mission C2_HarvestRed now so onto next :).

Hey shadow thx for that filter camera tip, that was great i love the key 4 brown one. ---------- Post added at 12:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:30 PM ---------- Lol gulag, you never put it inside the original bi addons folder did you, use a mod folder if you did, hey guys i need your help, ive unpacked chernarus.pbo, its not the original i just made a backup of chernarus.pbo to mod, so i can edit the config.cpp for my grass mod, now can i repack it without the chernarus.wrp and the $PBOPREFIX$, so the pbo will only have the config.cpp, the grass mod is working good ingame, any help would be great thx.

No worries glad you like it, could you do me a favour gulag and test the grass mod, i want to see if its working ok, thx, theres an update on front page ive completed C1_IntoTheStorm.Chernarus mission, screenshot comparisons updated, i think ill wait until ive done all campaign before releasing the mod, depends if any of yous want it now , cheers.
  7. Ehad, ive already said that your screenshot is nowhere near the yellow of mine, go back to page 5, so no i dont need glasses thx, and if you read a few post back you would know ive fixed the problem, if you go to front page you will see my new comparisons shots of the campaign.

Ive sorted out the problem, updated nvidia driver, prob something to do with sharing my 32" with the 23", now im just on the one monitor, anyway enad you need new glasses m8 cos thers a tone of yellow in your screenshot cant you see it at all it makes the whole screen almost one colour, oh well ive updated front page, and i must of done the grass mod ok, cos you havent said anything about that, cheers.

Yer there is def yellow, the whole screen is covered in it, its a yellow haze look at the boots and weapon and grass, if you took out the yellow and see the diffrence then you would know what im talking about, you need a keen eye, the yellow is covering the whole screen making all the colours washed out, no clarity, but i see what you mean theres nowhere near the yellow i can see on my screenshots, anyway cheers m8.
  10. hi ryguy, this is what i do to test, go in editor click new mission put a unit down goto preview if the view is ok i go back in editor and save it call it default1,2,3,4, once ive got a few views saved i then go out editor copy code ive saved in textfile and load up the editor again load a default saved view with nothing in the units init then paste the code from text file into it and test thats it i dont touch anything else m8, anyway have you tested the grass mod m8.

Go to bottom page 2, see my post thats what i thought, something strange going on if your right, cos now when i delete the init line in a unit then goto preview it goes back to the slightly yellow version, but before it was staying same then i uninstalled to fix it, anyways it would be nice to stick it all in a pbo knowing the settings wont change for some reason ingame, but you def have me worried now that ive spent 2 weeks making f***all improvements. can someone test the grass mod out please, to me it looks great, but you never know.

Thats what i want m8, someone to make a pbo all in one, [all 3 map codes + chernarus grass mod] that overides everything[editor,missions, mp, campaign,], that would be great, well just have to wait and see now, my jobs done anyway ive just tested the chernarus map, all looks good through 24rs, hopefully someone can make it ;).

Thx for that info Willa, great job m8 for the code by DMC, that indeed is a great starting point for everyone to use, ive put the code and screeny on front page gj. ---------- Post added at 12:08 AM ---------- Previous post was Yesterday at 11:55 PM ---------- Great job DMC on that code for the Chernarus map, its a great start, ive put it on front page, and sry for missing your post a few days ago great info you gave there, and im def going try that effects utes mission, should come in handy for when you are looking for colour effects, that Takistan code is almost same as the mod ver, just slightly darker if you got a keen eye:), and that lime green version, jesus christ next time warn me m8, lol, anyway the Chernarus code need alot of work def too much blue look up in sky with full weather, forcast 100% and 0% fog, and you see the rings but already i prefer it over default, just needs some good tweaking keep at it everyone,gj all.

Thx all for your nice comments, sry not been on for replys, a double shift is a pain in da ass, anyway im looking for someone to to make a pbo using the Takistan and Zargabad codes, i really want it to overide both in editor, mission, and campaign if possible, that would be great, Im working on the [Chernarus map], its not going too well at the moment, but ill keep at it, please try yourselfs, just upload the code and a image on hear ill take a look at it, if i think it looks good i might put it in final pbo, goodluck all.:)

  19. hi max thats a great idea, but first i got a strange problem needs sorting, whenever i make new mission in editor and start without any ppeffect settings, and go to preview, the map looks like the graphics mod and not the default yellow, ive even deleted the arma2 in my documents but still i cant get it back to default look, even in the damn campaign the yellow is gone lol, any help please, thx. ---------- Post added at 11:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:52 PM ---------- Never mind ive found a solution, ive uninstalled and reinstalled arma2 and oa, it works, now i can take screenshots of each map on default (no ppeffect mod), and change the mod settings until the brightness matches the default brightness, ill update when ive done the maps, and then we can work out a pbo, cheers.

  23. Huge update boys, ive completly removed the yellow haze effect, without losing clarity, and boy does arma2 look good in its real colours, go to front page for new screenys, cheers

"colorCorrections" ppEffectAdjust[ 1, 1, -0.008, [0, 0, -0.03, -0.3],[1.8, 1.8, 0.3, 0.85],[0.2, 0.59, 0.11, 0]]; "colorCorrections" ppEffectCommit 1; "colorCorrections" ppEffectEnable true; -------------------------- Now this is where i need everyones help, when i lower the -0.03 even more, i.e. -0.05 -0.07 it removes the yellow great but it also shows a white misty effect, so your losing clarity and sharpness, ive been testing that out for a few hrs and trying other settings to remove it but no good, if anyones got a advice, or found a solution, then great post the code and ill test it out, thx.
