...either that or some serious bug is fucking up my performance. I'm running Vista 64, with an e6850 @3.3ghz, 8gigs of ram and a 4870x2. Performance has been complete shit in the benchmark that comes with the demo, I then proceeded to do a test with a member of another forum who is running the same CPU but at stock speeds and windows XP. Setting everything to the lowest possible setting, and visibility to 500m in order to make this about stressing the CPU, the benchmark came back with an average of 48fps on my system and 83fps on his. This is ridiculous, especially since I really want to buy the game but refuse to do so until this can be cleared up.
