Woooo got my copy on sunday :) Having a couple performance issues though, just general lag and pop-up textures. The first time i experienced a lot of lag and texture issues was in the harvest red mission. My specs: Intel Q6600 @2.4 2GB Corsair XMS 2 low latency (800MHz) ASUS 260 GTX (overclocked) ASUS P5Q mobo Vista 32 bit SP 1 In the harvest red mission i seem to be averaging 22FPS, my settings are generally high - post processing is off and im only running it at 1280 x 1024.

Would it be possible for my friend to purchase an ARMA 2 505 games' key from one of the electronic distributors, and then use my hard copy of the game to install but use the key that he got? Has anyone tried this??

Im getting my 505 copy from france in 2 weeks :D. I know that may seem like a long time, but im just happy with the fact that i know it WILL be in my hands in exactly 2 weeks :)

Question: If i buy the game in france will i be able to play it in english (will i be able to select english during the install)? Edit: It's the 505 version, i have seen this post http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=73194&page=12 but i dont think it is very clear. I also wouldn't mind seeing a picture of the back of the ArmA2 box (505 version of course), if anyone is willing to post a picture that would be great - preferably one purchased in europe :).

I did, well, i sent a general enquiry a couple of days ago - there is no email address on their site (unless im missing something lol). Sigh, oh well....

Oh ok that's good news, yeah it does haha. Im hoping that Placebo will be able to add a little input :P. I sent an enquiry to 505 games, but alas, no reply. :(

Hey MadDogX. thanks :) Yes it is, but internet cap is expensive here and it would end up costing me R1000 (roughly $100) haha! Besides, i would much rather prefer a hard copy :) Also there is the whole issue about steam and game mods, but that's besides the point.

First post, and hopefull the first of many :) With regard to South Africa's release date (26th of June) as indicated in the first post of this thread, does it still stand? The game is not available for pre-order anywhere in South Africa :( I e-mailed www.take2.co.za and this is what they had to say: "At the moment there is no indication as to who will be releasing the game locally I'm afraid" Currently they are only offering pre-order on the UK version, for R550 with a 10 -15 day shipping period :/
