hi, just wanted to say thanks to bis for updating the game. before the release of arma2 i was all hyped up. but with the crappy performance i did get, it was a big letdown. (q6600 @ 4x3,6ghz 8800gtx 4gb ddr2 800). i had to buy me a new pc because of my work and i hoped that maybe with it im gonna be able to play the game.(i7 980 @ 6x4,6ghz ati5870 12 gb ddr3 1800). so i played it with the 1.05 patch and i got ~35fps with high details. sometimes it was up to 60fps but most times it dropped to 25-20fps with bad stuttering. i was like wtf that cant be and i have to admin i got a bit mad at this game/bis. today i got bored and was browsing some old bookmarks and came to armaholic. there i saw a news about a recent beta patch. i read the change log and because of these performance improvements i got interested again. i installed the patch cranked everythink up to max and started a session. to be honest because of the past i realy didnt expected much but baaaaaaaaam fraps shows me steady 60 fps . im in love again so plz keep it up:bounce3: ps:just pre ordered OA

Hi all, could anyone tell me if the Novint Falcon will be supported by arma2 or is there a way to make a config, mod or something like that to be able to play with it. i would really like to play arma2 with my trackir 5 and my Falcon controller.:rolleyes: thx Offtopic: I have bought two 64gb Supertalent SSD's and let them run in raid 0. I can tell you that those fps slowdowns are now nearly gone and texture pop ups are better too.

hi again, kind of disappointing that no one has any info.:confused: than again Novint is developing a "api" so all games can be played with it but not with all effects that are possible with this controller if there is direct support. :(
