Hi, im pretty new to the ArmA series but having loved ArmA, i went and bought ArmA2.
My old graphics card (Radeon x800) couldnt handle it so i bought an Ati HD4650 1GB card, hoping it would work ok.
It did work when i played the 1st SP scenario, to get used to the game (graphics set at high) it was fine, same with the 1st campaign mission.
I have since tried to play the 'red harvest' mission in SP campaign mode and it either runs REALLY slowly, regularly shows the ''receiving'' message for about 20 seconds or cuts out all together showing an error box, in windows, saying ''Device Freed''. This happens even on low graphics settings and in the editor.
I've asked around and no-one can tell me whats up.
Im a bit of a newbie when it comes to hardware so maybe i've overlooked something, even a faulty graphics card..... Im about to download the 1.02 patch to see if it helps but im guessing its a graphics card problem
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
