Thanks for the suggestions :) Added the persistent = 1; but problem is, as "persistent" suggests, the AI and mission keeps on trucking even when we all logout. Is there a way to pause a server? Will read up on iniDBI and profileNamespace, but http://i.imgur.com/niSpb7y.jpg :confused:

Is this possible in Arma3? Some of the dynamic co-op missions can take hours to complete so a save option would be great so me and my friends can pick up where we left off. It works fine when I host on my PC, but can't find an option when using our rented server. Am I missing something simple?

Rented a dedicated server and now your mission is running much smoother, don't know if it's the server or your improvements, probably both :-) Question that is slightly off topic, is there any way to save our mission progress on a dedicated server?

Tried out co-op last night, much better than before but still very glitchy :-( Does the co-op mission need to be hosted on a dedicated server? I was hosting on my PC and 1 friend joined, maybe my net/pc aren't good enough. PC is i5-2500k @ 4ghz, 8gb ram and radeon 6950. A few issues: I selected dawn as starting time, but for my friend it was mid-day. When respawning I could not see the mini-map, it was just black and I would be parachuted in at a random point on the map, miles away from my squad. I think maybe the respawn timer is too quick for my PC and it wasnt loading the map quick enough? When we reached the resistance camp it just disappeared. Also running around static objects were disappearing (barrels, bricks etc). We bought a couple of trucks from a village, we ran all over that village and 99% sure they didn't spawn. Many thanks for all your work SaOk, will give todays update a shot asap :)

Great news. Will this fix the constant de-sync and lag we get in co-op? Your singleplayer mission is amazing, it's begging to be played co-op :)

Awesome :) Played MP tonight, we managed nearly 3 hrs before it crashed, compared to <30mins previously. Seems every Shift 6 you call in brings you closer to crashing? Compared to SP where I can go absolutely crazy with choppers n armor n supply drops and runs v.smooth. Is unlimited save option not available in MP version?

Excellent stuff SaOk, really enjoying your work :-D Having 1 big problem in the Multiplayer. When I host a game and choose Dawn start it is 4.11am for me and 10.11am for my m8 :confused:

I dont know if HunterUK above has the answer but the hacking problem is crippling Arma3. Seriously, trying to find a non-hacked server is a fucking chore.

Im also getting this problem :confused: Any workarounds?

Nah, no need with XP. Just part of vista's stupid UAC. Im guessing we've got slightly dodgy disks or the Securom/Copy protection doesnt like our DVD drives - just 2 of the reasons i go for Steam versions over physical disks any time I can. Return it and wait for the steam release, something I was too impatient to do :D

Any workarounds for this??? Finally received my copy today (postal strike :mad: ) and the installer is hanging @ 99% on Uninstall.csv. Right clicked the setup.exe properties-compatibility and checked "Run as administrator" Installed from the folder without changing the install path Works :) I dont know which of those options made the difference but it works for me, could be pure luck. Don't care, patched up n Im off to play :p
