MRAPs in ARMA 3 have replaced Humvees. It doesn't really even seem like the MRAPs in ARMA are designed specifically for COIN. Also conventional armies use mines and ambush tactics too, nothing in the nature of the MRAPs name points to it being a COIN vehicle.

Even having a +5%, -5% on animation speed would do wonders for making groups of soldiers performing the same animation seem less robotic.

In the video there was a little mention of an FPS hit haven't noticed an FPS hit while using Blastcore at all, in fact I've noticed an FPS BOOST since vanilla smoke (from vehicle explosions) are very laggy in comparison to Blastcore. -

Both have their ups and downs, personally I use JSRS - as too many weapons in SOS sound like pop-guns to me, but on the other hand some SOS sounds are quite superior to their JSRS counterparts (IE: Vehicle engines, particularly the ghosthawk) only problem with most of those better sounds are that they are too quiet; I couldn't hear the Hunter or Panther much at all until they were within about 20m of the player. -
Gunships: AI pilots and player as gunner

What's your specs? I have an FX-8350 8core, 560 GTX, and 8GB 1600 mhz RAM.

If it's stratis I can generally get 40+ FPS, no matter the settings, as long as there's not a bajillion AI running about. Altis on the other hand, I struggle to maintain 40 FPS at 2.5 km view distance and medium/high settings. And on MP it's even worse for Altis.

Been mentioned a couple times in the thread, but it never hurts to bring it up again: Some of the tanks sounds: cannon, engine, and turret turning, are all obscenely loud. IE: T-34/76, T-34/85. Compare their sounds to that of a Panzer IV, M2 Slammer, or T-100. I can sit in a Blackfoot (was experimenting) 1km away from a T-34 and when it fires it is louder than me sitting next to a slammer when it fires. (And I was in cockpit mode on the Blackfoot, too) There is also a similar problem with at least 1 German cannon, can't think of which one off the top of my head...

I had a friend do it to me once on my own server when I was flying a Buzzard, we didn't think much of it at the time but this perfectly explains what happened. And no, he isn't the hacking sort. -

The scouting missions themselves were nice - what Lato and Guy mentioned: having no team, is what makes them weird. Also protip for those who are having difficulty finding hidden enemys during the sniper/specop mission:
