Eulogy

Can anyone offer me tips on how to destroy the insurgent's main base without artillery? I try to get my squad to use the LAV-25 but as soon as I'm within range of the enemy APC or T-72 I get mauled. My gunner seems to have a penchant for shooting the enemy armour with a regular machine gun instead of the explosive rounds. I'm getting very frustrated. If I can't do it without artillery I'm gonna have to wait until the bugs get fixed in the next patch, whenever that may be. :(

Oblivion, that's what I was thinkin of. Where I got HL2 from I have no idea. :/

Half Life 2 has auto-walk doesn't it? Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

Try doing the one under the netting first?

Try this, go near the radio truck, press 'F' until you have Satchel Bomb selected. Press middle mouse and choose, 'place satchel bomb'. Move away to a safe distance, press middle mouse, select, 'Touch off one bomb'.

Eh, sounds like something's gone wrong there mate. Mission should end after you blow up the 2nd tank. Got a recent save?

Ok, I figured out a way to change their gear, but it's rather convoluted; there must be a simpler way. I go to the armoury, and pick up the gun I want them to have myself, I then drop it on the floor, and get them to pick it up. Real pain in the fud.

There's the armoury in FOB Manhattan, but I don't seem to get the option to tell them to pick up a specific weapon. :/

So, hopefully there isn't another thread about this. I'm in FOB Manhattan atm, and decided to change round my teams gear. I'd noticed on the Map menu under Units > Gear, you can look at your teams equipment. So I got one of them to drop their rifle, but I can't find anyway to replace it with something else. It's a pickle, because now Rodriquez only has a silenced pistol, which isn't much use. :D

IIRC, I just middle-moused on the crates there. Do you have a recent save you could load to try again?

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I arrest Lagushina, I don't have the option to order her to do things, nor does she follow me around. She just stands there. Anyone able to shed any light on this?
