Hey Forum, I just need some help on this game, I mean I love ArmA and all but I just bought the BF2 complete pack and wanted to play it. So I get home and install, update to latest patch, everything. Join a server and I get to the kit/setup screen and then I get kicked due to a pnkbstrA.exe problem. And yes I know, Ive been trying for about an hour and a half this morning trawling the pages of google for help, but they all tell me to run the pbsetup, which I did, I manually updated BF2, everything, but nothing works. I seem to not even have a pnkbstta.exe anywhere on my system, and even if its a hidden exe, it doesnt show up in processes, like apparantly it should. Please can anyone help me out here? What I think would do the trick is to download a pnkbstra.exe, so it'd be great to find a rapidshare link or something like that to the file. Thanks, guys.

For what it's worth, ArmA2 is great and your computer will definately run it, play it from patch 1.05 and the performance issues are no longer issues for most people. With the original ArmA, if you find it for cheap, you should get it just to play it I think, I have both ArmA Gold and ArmA2, and I alternate between, both are great games and run fluidly

I just downloaded this and all the required addons. When I start the campaign the game freezes. Wtf :0 Anyone else get this? This looks like a well made campaign I'd love to play but unfortunately can't

I'm having a major problem mentioned in this thread too, whenever the first town gets captured, and the autosave occurs, ArmA2 stops and I have to ctrl alt del to get back to desktop, then I have to quit the process to end the game. This happens every damn time. If BI still hasn't fixed the Harvest Red campaign by 1.9 I wouldn't be surprised, yet I'm not trying to tempt fate either lol.

Haha, in this one and ArmA1, it's almost like they understand the player's need for equipment over the other AI. Their biggest argument against it is: "1, STOP SHOOTING ME"

I'd say that was one of the big things about ArmA2 that made it harder for me, also the realism does stay pretty true in ArmA 2, but ArmA1 is a lot easier for me to get around the dquad command system for some reason :P

I have tried this mission 8 times, and I have never finsihed it without having done the ENDMISSION cheat 1)Go to Dressler 2)Go to CDF guy 3)Go to Staroye 4)Go to power plant - Bardak has been here ONCE, but then never found lopetov 5)Go to camps, find nothing 6)Go to Solnichny and kill chedaki, but no evidence there I can never find Lopetov and found Bardak ONCE, then did ENDMISSION Also I can never get evidence from anywhere for some reason:16_6_8:

I got the game yesterday and boot camp runs well, kinda surprised at the amount of motion blur and loss of sharpness compared to ArmA1 but thats not the problem at the mo. My game runs boot camp like I said and some missions at something like 30fps, but then if theres too many units or a plane goes past, it stutters like nothing else. If theres radio chatter too, the game freezes and all I hear is the Tischhhhh sound of the radio. I turned the grpahics to very low, and still this happens (Albeit with about 70fps between game freezes). I have a Intel Q6600, Nvidia 9500GT, 4GB RAM, and a decent SLi motherboard by Asus and the case has a 450W PSU. I have found an ATi Radeon HD4350 512MB for about £30 which I could get, and I'm wondering if it's worth the upgrade What does BIForums think?
